I love how much you love Donna. Donna is one of my two favorite companions! You haven't met my other favorite yet, so I'll be excited to see what you think of companions in the future!

It's definitely a new chapter in season 5. We also have a new show runner from the first seasons as well. I can't wait for you to get to it. There's a reason you know Matt more, because it was definitely advertised a lot more in the US/Canada and I believe they had a theatre premiere of the first episode somewhere as well.

So glad you’re enjoying it, and that you loved River. She’s my favourite character from the show. (Rivers greeting was “Hello Sweetie”…and “spoilers”, of course. ) Season 4 is good ; my main problems with it is RTDs occasional tendency to write stuff : “it doesnt make sense but hey, if i do it fast & emotional maybe just go with it” . RTDs second stint (very recently) really suffered from that. Matt (11) and Stephen Moffat next. It’s going to be quite a ride. Matt was an unknown when he was cast, and he’s great in a nutty professor sort of way. Moffatt is very good with a catchphrase, his stint is very quotable…i think from what you’ve said, you’ll love that. (My favourite quote is from season 6 about someone’s dress size, but season 5 has some great ones too.. especially about why the tardis makes a weird noise when landing. ) Eleven is my favourite Doctor. (I started with Three, Jon Pertwee but MY doctor is David Tennants father in law, Peter Davison). Ps. Your biggest wish : dinosaurs. Noted.

A TV show you can watch to get your fix of David Tennant's acting - Good Omens! That Tik Tok clip you showed is actually Tennant and his co-star from Good Omens, Michael Sheen!

Ok I've reacted to a lot of early David Tennant career on my channel. If you want an early career - Takin Over the Asylum. He shone in that role, but make sure you have tissues! If you want something fun watch David Tennant BAFTA 2024 and 2025 intro clips. That clip you have on TikTok is with Michael Sheen who he worked with on Good Omens - which is a good short series for a reaction - they have the last one coming out this year so you could time it (if you have time of course). That show on the TikTok is a pandemic TV show called Staged which is hilarious!

Loving sharing yor discovery of the Whoniverse. When it comes to MY Doctor, I'm so old I watched the first. One of my earliest memories is the very 1st regeneration & my earliest clear memories are Dr #2. He became MY Doctor & remained my favourite until 11. 2 is still MY, but 11 is my favourite. Don't worry you're in safe hands m

Really enjoyed re-watching S4 with you... I will always love Donna and be a little mad about what happened to her at the end of the season. David Tennant was a great Doctor, but I'm really excited for you to meet Matt Smith. Personally I would be unable to pick a favorite between the two of them. Good times ahead! Oh, that clip you played with Tennant was opposite Michael Sheen, his co-star in the excellent series Good Omens. There's a little shade over it, unfortunately, since the creator and co-writer of the original book it's based on, Neil Gaiman, was recently accused of being a sexual predator, but despite that the series was great and very much a work of many hands, so I absolutely recommend checking it out for more David Tennant.

Michael Fallon

Fantastic final wrap up. Interesting that someone mentioned the food combos...I'm glad that you are ready for a 'new era'. I think series 5 has a good mix of old and new.

Not sure how big you are into books but they released a book for the episode Rose which I read recently and it was so much fun! (theres also many others but, you know, Rose)

Ooh another David Tennant show that is great is Broadchurch. Extremely different vibes more of a police procedural but they’re only handling one case the whole season 1… I don’t know what you would call that lol. I’m pretty sure it won many awards and his costar is Olivia Coleman pre-Oscar.

Ten and Donna’s team name is obviously DoctorDonna!!! 😄 And even though Ten is hardly in ‘Blink’ he does have some standout moments: “This is my timey-wimey detector. Goes ‘Ding!’ when there’s stuff” lives in my head rent free 😭 It’s so funny the way you talk about how you love 9 because he was your introduction to the show, and you love 10 because he taught you everything you know about it, because that’s almost my exact same experience! But 10 takes the win for me, I didn’t realise to this day how much I idolised David Tennant as a kid 😅

Also David Tennant is faaantastic in the Marvel show Jessica Jones 👀 The catch is he plays one of the most hateable characters of all time ☺️

Literally just discovered you on YouTube recently and joined patreon so I can catch up with your Doctor Who reactions. I’m back on series 3 with Martha right now but just wanted to say hello 😊 Love your reactions to this show!

Tennant voices the droid Professor Huyang in a 3 episode run of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and reprises it for Star Wars: Ahsoka. Huyang is a very old droid that first arrived at the Jedi temple thousands of years ago in a big Blue Box.
