So much that could be said about this episode, from the cameos and references to past characters (both hydra and shield), to them using the serum Daisy's dad and Mace used for super strength, and to the Hydra brain washing technique being used to "enlighten" kids. How I wish revisiting this story didn't resonate so hard against current events. It's honestly a little depressing how on the money this has become. This felt exaggerated when it first aired, and now not so much. RIP Jeffery Mace, he died a hero, and his sacrifice has helped reach May and wake her up! Let's go team resistance!

Testament to the writing on the show that when we first met Jeffrey we were all suspicious of him and instinctively didn't want to like him, and here he is being a true hero.

I love the look you gave when Fitz's dad said "womanly sentiment," like, "Uhm, EXCUSE me???"😆

More like "Hyde May" than Captain America. Mace is the closest thing to Captain America here because SHIELD never found Steve. But, it explains why Coulson is such a fanboy of The Patriot, like he was with Cap.
