I love this episode! Seeing Cordy happy is always nice :) Also personally I'm totally fine with them charging. Not a random person that Angel saves on a street. But if someone comes to Angel through business cards and other things, then it's like them coming to a private detective and that comes with charges. They have to pay for the cards and phones and rent. Maybe some pro bono work makes sense too, though.

Cordelia-centric episodes so far have all been so good, even back in BtVS. Mostly because they're usually a way to humanize her (or introduce an entire alternate universe) and I love that. Also love the metaphor behind the filicidal poltergeist's words being words of depression and guilt from what Cordelia must have felt or have been feeling lately. I think it just adds nice layers to her as a character. Also Angel pointing out Cordelia is searching for redemption like he is?? Love that theme.

Who do you need to fight ghosts? Not Ghostbusters - Sam and Dean! You should attempt Supernatural again at some point in the future. I think Buffy and Angel may help you in that journey - they don't always fight ghosts - in fact later seasons ghosts are rarer. With some good mods/support people can tell you to avoid or be cautious of certain eps. I love this episode of Angel. I knew you'd struggle with it though with it being a ghost! Hopefully Dennis is now bringing you around on ghosts not all being scary.
