Just started the reaction, but the movie you're thinking of is "Home is Where the Heart Is" starring Natalie Portman! Love that movie! Makes me cry everytime haha

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

"...there will be no birth, only death." And technically that's what we got, no birth, Darla's death, and yet still our little baby Dangel still arrived. Fuckin' prophecies and all their tricky double triple reverse backwards meanings!

I swear Darla has died more times than any other character and always by someone different, right?! first, the master killed her when she was human angel staked her on buffy drusilla turned her into a vampire again after she was resurrected human and now, she staked herself homegirl just couldn't ever catch a break, rip

Julie Benz breaks my heart in this episode with her performance. I just love Darla so much and this is an epic way for her to go out. Darla is actually the first vampire that we see in the first episode of Buffy. They kill her off so early in Buffy that she doesn’t end up making a huge impact but I’m so glad the writers brought her back in the finale of season 1 of Angel. The Angel/Darla relationship informs so much of what Angel is today.

And so, we welcome Baby Ashley to the world. I'll let myself out.
