Thank you for introducing me to Veronica Mars. I had never heard of it, thanks also for saying it was on prime, am only 11 episodes in and I love it. Don't know how I missed it at the time.

The first season starts in 2004! I started HS in 2005. I LOVE Buffy fashion, but VM looks are 100% my nostalgia.

Never saw this series and am now enjoying watching it with you for the first time.

Veronica mars is one of my favorite shows im so glad you're doing it! For the record there is Technically a buffy movie, its just a different cast and set before the show was set but it was a fun movie nonetheless!

You do know there is a Buffy movie? Right? You have to.

It's been a while, but I *think* Corny from the pilot episode is a minor reoccurring character. So... in a way... Corn-Pops still kinda works. :-)

This is a pretty progressive episode for the time and the father/trans woman is played by future Oscar winner, Melissa Leo. You don’t need to worry about bringing up Buffy, there are a lot of similarities in the shows with the quipy blonde female leads. In fact, when Veronica Mars was on TV, Joss Whedon said it was his favorite show. One thing that cracks me up is how many people in the show when talking either to or about Veronica, call her by her full first and last name. It’s like it flows so well together people can’t just say the first name and be done with it. Kristen Bell is fantastic in this show. She has said that she would always love to come back and play Veronica Mars as long as the studio would make them. Like even though she had become a pretty big star she came back for both the movie and the revival season and said she’d love to be solving crimes as Veronica Mars as an old lady like Angela landsbury in Murder She Wrote. So fingers are crossed that we will get more VM at some point.

Also… Melissa Leo is just the first of many incredible guest stars in the “before they were famous,” category. There are even several future Academy Nominees/ winners on their way into the Mars universe.
