It was "Fool For Love" S5 E7. The first slayer was Xin Rong, in 1900 China during the Boxer Rebellion and the second was Nikki Wood in 1977, New York.

I love how validated you were by Andrew’s big board. 😂 This is an episode that has definitely grown more on me through rewatches. Kennedy as a character still doesn’t work for me though. I get what they were going for, but it doesn’t land with me.

If it makes you feel any better, I got annoyed at Kennedy and I’ve seen this episode multiple times

Back in episode "Triangle", I believe, with Anya's "X", Willow was experimenting with creating a ball of sunlight. That would be the sort of weapon that could work against any number of vamps, even uber vamps.

Kennedy is just kind of bland. I don't know if it's just that they didn't have enough screen time to write a big character arc for her, but she doesn't have much going for her. She's the most capable of the newbies but that's not saying a lot when she's standing next to massively capable characters like Buffy. She has a weird unearned mild arrogance to her in that sense. She's not awful, but she's uncompelling.

I love Kennedy, and Buffy said what absolutely needed to be said this episode.

Yeah I'm not a fan of Kennedy, like at all. Honestly I absolutely cannot stand the character. The potentials overall, with the exception of a couple, I've always felt contributed to my overall dislike for this season. It's like they threw a bunch of story and plot potential at a wall, and then hoped something would stick, and just went with it.

Every time I rewatch that scene I just think it would be better if Willow completely drained Kennedy and she dropped dead. It's not that I don't like Kennedy . . . 🤔. . . okay I just don't like Kennedy 😜
