That scene with Darla, gets me every time. Especially the moment Cordy looks straight at her and Darla looks completely shocked. Then they play Connor and Cordy's twisted lullaby. It's all so brutal. Yeah, this episode is a huge info dump, and honestly, all these years later I still don't fully understand it. Their baby is an octopus! Ha ha ha! I'm so glad we're going to finish this season this month. How wild.

I don’t like what Skip said about this thing manipulating them. I get that they are trying to make this thing more powerful to give it added weight but in doing that they are discounting everything that came before it by kind of saying that none of it mattered. How far back does it go? Was thing manipulating everything Angel and Cordy did on Buffy as well? Because of that I chose to ignore it as Skip just talking out his a$$ to make his master seem more powerful to scare the gang, that or he’s just misinformed. My head cannon is that, I don’t buy it.
