Full Patreon Release & Status Update - The Next One (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

The latest version v0.9.1 of Becoming Prom Queen is now available to all paid Patreon members through Discord. It’s a big update, and I hope you have as much fun playing it as I had writing it.

Thanks to your reports, this build also comes with a batch of bug fixes, including a few that could stop the Easter Party from ending, a gloryhole scene with no way out, and some choices that never showed up when they should have. Keep the reports coming, they help a ton!

The walkthrough is also getting a big update, covering everything after Spring Break: the birthday, the Easter Party, the rumors, the road to saving prom and the principal’s office. It’ll be released alongside the public release next Friday, October 23rd.

I’m looking for an artist!

As the next game grows, I’m looking for an artist to bring its world to life. This is a commission for art across the entire game, in a western cartoon style:- Character art- Scenes- Backgrounds- UIIf that’s you, or you know someone who might be interested, reach out to me here on Patreon or on Discord!Finding the right person matters a lot for this project. Without an artist, I’ll have to spend a good chunk of development time making the art myself and learning as I go, and that’s time I’d much rather spend writing the game for you.

And now, a little secret about that game...

This past week, I’ve been back at work on my next game, the fantasy one I’ve mentioned before. And it’s been a good week! A whole new chapter got written:

Arriving somewhere new, and finding out whether you really belong there

A new round of free roam, with time to spend with each of your companions, gifts to give, and a few surprises waiting in the streets

A night of drinks and bets that gets... interesting, fast

And the first steps of the chapter after it

Your companions each get their own moments this chapter: a commanding woman who always seems to know more than she says, the childhood friend who’s been by your side since the orphanage, a thief caught in the night with an intriguing collar around her neck, and a goblin who’s slowly learning to speak your language.

I’m not ready to share the name just yet, but I’m loving where it’s going, and I can’t wait to show you more when the time is right.
