So, last week, you guys decided that the Skyforged Vanguard would be acquiring a Deep Space Recovery Vessel to function as the fleet's designated carrier. Now, you get to pick just how they are going to do that.

Hutts are a bit more powerful than id want to mess with atm, better to wipe out some pirates

MorGrizz

fight the pirates, find useful ships or emergency safehouses

I would say go after the pirates, Hutts can be vindictive and revengeful if you attack them or their businesses. A mission for the rebels should be off the table until things blow over from when Deacon killed 4 inquisitors.

A possible backstory for the pirates is that they operate as a legitimate “roadside assistance” business for starships. But have a tendency to Strategically Transfer Equipment to Alternate Locations while they are fixing your ships. Most of the time it’s a create or two but sometimes the ship they went to find is “Lost with no chance of recovery.” This would allow the pirates to have operated for a long time, and to acquire a wide variety of interesting items. Especially if our heroes make a daring escape in a damage ship that is then rescued by the pirates.

Eh, screw the rebels. I've never liked them and would rather Deacon and co do their own things. The Empire obviously aren't rainbows and sunshine, but at least they don't sow chaos wherever they go because they have no actual plan to manage the aftermath. There's a reason the "New Republic" was so shit lol.
