Hello everyone! Its once again time to select William's bonus unlock. Just a reminder, I take the two top options from the previous poll, and then add two new subjects. There somehow seemed to be a bit of confusion that people had to select the repeat options, but that is not the case, all subjects are valid options!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dimensional Partitioning: First level allows the MC to make the physical boundaries of small spaces more flexible. This is not an increase in size per-say, more a softening of borders. At Level two the MC can now expand small mounts of space (a few cubic inches) to a small degree (25-30%, and make borders even more flexible. Level three MC can double the amount of space in slightly larger spaces (square foot) and slightly effect that spaces connection with mass. At level Four the MC can control much larger spaces, and is more capable of manipulating physics tied to this places. At level five the MC partition whole rooms, completely sealing them off and controlling their nature with nearly completely. At level six the MCs understanding of dimensional partitioning and control deepens, the amount of space they can mess with is about a hundred meter tall square. At level seven, the final level, the MC can partitions several times more at once, and gains the ability to expand their partitions.
Magical Tattoos: Level one gives the MC the ability to create small tattoos with magic ink that can give the user small buffs to basic abilities they already have(a normal person can be made to run faster, but not increase their fly speed, while GG could)( Limits to how many tattoos a person can have.) Level two allows the MC increase the buffs, and give minor abilities (always knowing were north is, knowing what time it is, things like that) and allows more tattooed surface per person. At level three increase the buffs even further, adds more powerful abilities (minor elemental control and resistances, more powerful sensory abilities and more) Level four allows the MC to include even more powerful powers, things like flight, teleportation, connects the knowledge of tattoos with spell creation, opening up what is possible significantly, though there is a limit to how much a person can handle. Level Five: with a tattoo that covers 45-50% of someones body, you could create capes on par with powerful heroes like Glory Girl, with two or three special abilities.
Alchemy: Level one gives the MC the ability to convert on material into another, at a steep cost of e resources, time and energy. Level two lowers the cost and energy between conversions, and how to create Enfused Metals . Level three lowers the cost again and teaches how to make Orichalcum. Level four reduces the cost to again, and shows how to make Enfused Gemstones. Level Five reduces the cost of alchemy to weight, meaning a pound of lead turns into a pound of gold turns into a pound of iron (this is the ultimate balance) and how to make adamantine and mithril.
Animal Form: First level teaches how discover your first animal form, and turn into it at will. Second level allows you to discover second form (switching to second form is more difficult). Third and final level allows you discover your third form, and a method of making your transformations significantly easier.
I would go with Alchemy or Partitioning. Both would be immensely helpful to his future endevors and fighting endbringers.
Miguel Garcia
This is a tough one. On the one hand, level 3 dimensional partitioning is the last free bump we can give there and what he needs to have it barely be worth the effort. On the other hand we’ve got magical tattoos which could be useful for his army idea, and alchemy which… Adamantium golems are probably game changers for Endbringer response. Not to mention Mithril armor and spell focus items. Just imagine Armsmaster making a nanothorn with a mithril core while the nanothorns themselves are adamantium tipped. Can we afford to invest to a five though? That’s three weeks of base charges even with free bumps getting it to three.
Miguel Garcia
Animal form is just a no for me. Unless mythical creatures count too.
Will Iam
Alchemy would allow him to create better stronger golems or magical artifacts previously so its better than tatoos. Also you can't tatoo many people's at once but you can leave artifacts prepared
Will Iam
Animal form is also a no for me but tatoos fit better with animal form than army making, can't tatoo a golem.
Miguel Garcia
He wants to make a normal human army with enhanced items though…
Pearl of the Orient
Alchemy for long term increase in power. Tattoos are much more limited.
Robert Meta
That first part is incorrect. there is no limit (save the max level of the tree) that you guys could purchase
Miguel Garcia
Oh! I thought free bumps were limited to 3 pips, but we can actually buy up to a 4pip level if we reinforce three times?
Straven
Alchemy to me holds the best over all increase all around, hell just that material alone 'orichalum'......that alone I do believe should be able to break or make everything. Thanks for the options!
Not pushing for dimensional partitioning at least one more time would make the previous investments worthless. Especially if that magic isn’t in the top two from this week. Then (if Robert sticks to the pattern of top two move on, unless he makes an exception to bring it back) it might not go into the next vote. End up left with wasted power that’s stuck in a less than usable state :/ Comon people, one more!! Note: I didn’t even want DP but the waste!! and my OCD is unforgiving, so i give it my vote
Will Iam
First, time sunk fallacy. Second, i still don't see the benefits of this for the plans of army building. Not only he has spent very little, comparatively, :in his house but also gives no benefits as he is always outside and the gains anre minimal.
Will Iam
Offtopic, my ocd is showing that the % are wrong. Can see 101% summing all options
AlthePal
I don’t quite agree, dimensional partitioning is important beyond just making your beverage fit perfectly in your cup holder. At some level it should give him insight beyond just making small expansions of space for convenience. You know what hides themselves in nearby dimensions? Entities and Endbringers. At some point investing in DP will be worth it, in ways that getting cool new powers (that can do what he already can in new ways) just can’t match. But that’s just my opinion. I didn’t really want people to vote for it initially cuz it felt boring and took too long to get to the good part. But now i’m just irked at the possibility of waste
Kyle A. Pemberton
I don't why people are voting tattoos when his rituals already do the same thing. Whereas Alchemy will let him create better materials for stronger rituals and golems
Miguel Garcia
Wait… would high enough dimensional partitioning give him insight into how to clear Eagleton? The bots can hide in other dimensions to keep from being wiped out apparently
Miguel Garcia
I’m kinda curious if the tattoo knowledge will help him improve his items somehow, but agree that Alchemy and then Dimensional Partitioning should be higher priorities
AlthePal
Honestly? I have no idea, but with the way Arc seems to be able to blend his powers and take inspiration from parts into another? I think it is a very strong possibility. If he learns to twist space, then he should be able to notice/perceive it when there’s something off or hiding I think (would also be a rather easy way to identify triggers)
HYP3R
I unpopularly voted for animal forms because I think it would make for fun fight scenes ——— In the spirit of ranked choice, I fucking hated the dimension mechanics of worm. IDEALLY for me the only way for the MC to use the dimension power would be for tinkering and bending the laws of physics in the weird Cauldron universes (i however never read past ch 26 of worm because of the dimension BS)
Howler
You have to keep in mind that he can invest his charges into these subjects too. So even if we never vote for DP again he can still get the next levels in it, it just won’t be free and take away the ability to use those charges for something else. On another note I like the idea of the animal form. It gives him options for movement and escape other than teleportation (Arc turns breaks line of sight for a few seconds and when they catch up all they find is a cat sitting lazily on a crate). If I was a big bad and wanted to take down a hero who’s main mover power was teleportation and who teleports to the same places every day (the hospital and PRT headquarters) I would set up all kinds of hidden sensors nearby, getting lots of data samples of how it works, maybe even learn how to track where he teleports to and find a way to block or otherwise prevent his teleports. Even if he can later change his spell so it’s not disrupted, it’s not something he should do on the fly while being attacked. And any competent enemy who is trying to beat/kill him only needs one ambush where he is cut off from allies and there are people who can fly faster than him around. Ps. Does he leave behind a pile of cloths and accessories when he assumes an animals shape?
Miguel Garcia
Alchemy won out! 🎉 But we lost dimensional partitioning 🪦
Miguel Garcia
Wait… if he gets Adamantium and Mithril…. Does that mean he can also upgrade his Brute/permanent buff spell?
