I hope you're all having a nice week!Now it's time for a status update on v13, Hasshaku!!

Surviving the Night

Last time, I mentioned I began working on the gameplay part of the update.It was an... unique idea... that I wasn't sure I could actually do in time - but since it would affect how I'd actually write the scenes, I had to start with that instead of the art, as I usually do.

It's now mostly finished (with some final touches reserved for the Polishing Phase).

Besides that, I've also done a small intro cutscene.I wanted to try and make something akin to those analogue horror YouTube videos - like an old VHS tape with the crappy BonziBuddy/windows95-type robotic uncanny voice.(If you don't know what that type of voice is, a more recent game example is KinitoPet)

That cutscene will serve to give players who don't know who Hasshaku is some context and give some general instructions on how the gameplay will work - and, of course, to set a spooky mood for the special~~

How do we get started?

Unlike the Vampire path, which was available immediately from the store, this one will require some more setup to unlock - not much, but a bit more.

Currently, the idea I have for it is

At Night, when opening the map, there will be a chance that Hasshaku will be hidden by the trees in the park.Clicking her will make her disappear and give a notification that a new item has been unlocked in the GIMMICK store.

You'll then be able to purchase a Sun Hat.

You can gift it to Mia when she's at Growth Lv. 5 - and the Special event will start

I also want to have the chance of her showing up on the map be higher if it's October or November, but I'm not sure if all platforms allow me to check the system date - so that idea is on hold until I test that later on in development.

That's it for now!I've now moved on to working on the sexy art, and hopefully I can do it fairly quickly, since the month is going by way too fast and I still have a lot of work to do before Halloween, and I am a bit stressed.

So I'll go back to the dungeon and order some bleach to keep that long dress nice and white.
