September Update! (Patreon)

Hey @everyone. Happy September! Thought it was about time for a channel update!

"Sonic in JAWS: The Finale Reanimated" is coming along well! Working with an ocean simulator has been a real challenge but it has been producing incredible results! We're far from the days of Garry's Mod.

Unfortunately, there is going to be a slight delay. I originally had hoped it would be finished by the end of this month, but I have been having a very hard time recently, and had a terrible flu that lasted 3 weeks. It took a huge chunk out of production time. I even tried to work while sick but it wasn't working out, and only made things worse.

Fortunately all of the assets have been finished and paid for, so it's just a matter of getting the animation itself done. I'm sure you all should know by now that animation is extremely time consuming. I am the only one animating these videos. I've been working as much as I can on it, but I can't animate full time as I used to with how bad it's been with YouTube. I plan to stream working on animating it sometime soon over on Twitch. You can follow me there and turn on notifications so you don't miss out! https://www.twitch.tv/balenaproductions

I do not have a release date, but I am hoping to release it around November. I have family to visit next month, and then I have to prepare for Sonic Expo in Texas, and other personal matters to attend to. If you'll be going to the convention, you can meet me there! Maybe even if things go extremely well, I can premier the video there! If you want more info about Sonic Expo, check it out here: https://sonicexpo.org/

After JAWS, I am happy to share with you that I am part of an animation collaboration with some good friends in the community! Myself, Sassostudios, Shadow759, Mike Darklighter, and Roowee, will all be working on an overarching short animation. It's going to be fun! That will release on December 19th!

Sometime between November and December, I will be combining the entire series of "Christmas with Sonic" into one video just as I did for "Sonic Zombies The Whole Thing". This compilation will fix the audio issues, and as a treat there will be a small story that ties all of them together with brand new panels!

After that, the future is pretty cloudy. It's hard to say where we'll be then. As much as I want to continue making animations for years to come, all the signs are pointing to retiring after "Sonic in Scared Stupid: The Final Chapter". This isn't how I want things to end, but reality is what it is. It's not over yet, this isn't quitting, but I just like to be as transparent as I can be.

You can help of course by pledging on my Patreon, where if our goal is met you'll see the return of "Sonic Zombies" and "Christmas with Sonic". This Patreon is the only real chance I have at continuing on in a post "Made for Kids" world on YouTube. If you're feeling generous, you can pledge here and get access to behind the scenes and more!

I will be doing another on camera video at the end of the year to discuss the future in further detail, but as they say, the future hasn't been written yet!

That is all for now. Thank you all for your patience. I appreciate everything you do for me. I'm very lucky to have such a great audience. If you have any questions feel free to join my Discord: https://discord.gg/balenaproductions
