A message from Mel the Bat (Patreon)

Happy Halloween everyone!

I am excited to announce that “Sonic in Scared Stupid: The Final Chapter” has officially left development hell and will finally release sometime in the future.

When we announced this project I had fully intended to release it the following year, but after I began work on it YouTube introduced their “Made for Kids” policies which automatically flag just about any animated content as made for small children including R rated and Adult content. This is a flag that is forced, and hard to remove. It wasn’t looking good for the channel.

Some of you recommended I start a Patreon to keep things moving, and I am happy to say that it was a big success! We are now fully funded on Patreon, and things are looking brighter than ever! With the Patreon, we don’t need to worry about YouTube and their corporate garbage decision making. I am finishing up a few previous obligations, and then it is back to full time work on Scared Stupid. I do not have a release date, but I can promise you I will be working full time on getting it released. It may not be next Halloween, but I will release it when it is finished regardless of what time of year it is.

It is important to consider becoming a Patreon patron to keep our security for the future. If you join you will get your name in the credits, and higher tiers you’ll get an early look at all future videos including Scared Stupid. So if you would consider, please pledge today!

I can’t wait to share this movie with you all. It will truly be worth the wait. I promise!

Happy Halloween!
