Hey everyone! After almost half a year we've finally wrapped up our read of all 1100 chapters of One Piece. You can check out our previous reading sessions in the new Collections Tab for the Book Club if you missed any and need to catch up.

This is where I'll be posting some little extra visuals! Right now all I have is a full-sized version of our Straw Hat Ranking over time, but eventually I'll update this to include one other full chart that I'm about halfway done with.

We also have The Imgur Albums for Bo, Aloha, and my live reading sessions. Aloha often read first and on physical copies so he wasn't in there much, but Bo and I had lots of stupid jokes that I thought were pretty funny, so please enjoy this peek into our secret clubhouse. And of course I have to lead with the gif Bo made that really represents One Piece for me now:

ALBUM #1

ALBUM #2 (there were too many images!!!)

Remember that we are reading Dungeon Meshi next, and taking the month of December off! Take some time to read the manga and we'll be back for a one-sitting club to cover all of it in January. Thanks so much for participating everyone!

oh my god, I can't believe I only realized now, Enel is based because not being sexist is an evil thing to do in Oda's mind. Oh love that Bege's hobby is playing boardgames, he was already the best and that's just another plus. Well, thanks for letting us in on your best jokes and observations. Looking forward to Dungeon Meshi.

Where can I read dungeon meshi

Far as I can tell, your best bet is to just search and find a source. Doesn't seem to be any officially endorsed online sources afaik. I'm reading through on mangadex.org personally, but ymmv.

I think the best summary I've ever encountered of One Piece fans was a YouTube Short that said "Did you know? Whether you follow your dreams in One Piece can actively change your appearance!" And the evidence was like. A sketch page Oda drew of the future StrawHats in a good timeline and bad timeline. And all the good timeline StrawHats were still what Oda thinks is hot and the bad timeline ones were what Oda thinks is ugly. And like. How can you see that, make the connection of "Oh wow, good people in One Piece are pretty and bad people are ugly" and go "WOW COOL LORE" instead of "Wow, Oda's a fucking hack."

As someone who used to read One Piece as young teen but dropped it over time after loosing interest/getting into new hyperfixations, I honestly feel like I lost nothing of value by doing so seeing how you guys reacted to it. Especially seeing how the sexism & objectification of young girls kept getting worse, as I'm AFAB myself. Absolutely valid & understandable criticism, thank you for your sacrifices.

Holy shit, I looked those up and you weren't fucking kidding, like it's bad for the male characters but it really is just good timeline Nami and Robin look like they're still in their twenties at age 60 and bad timeline Nami and Robin go from ugly woman to ugly grandmother at age 40 and 60 respectively. Though I'll have to give a shoutout to Zoro whose good timeline is literally him mastering the four sword style and then the five sword style as if that's not a supremely stupid thing to do. Considering he's already only using three swords by biting down on one with his mouth. (how the fuck would he hold not just two more but even just one more) What a hack indeed.

"I have a flight in december so I'll probably save most of dungeon meshi for it, but i'll start it now since i'm a slow reader" *gets too invested and reads all of it* "fuck!"

It was a fun surprise looking up the creator of Dungeon Meshi and seeing that she have drawn art of the companions from both Baldur's Gate 1/2 and Pathfinder Kingmaker

Hi, just noticed this post isn't included with the rest of Book Club in the patreon content master post. I think it'd be good to add it so people can find it more easily, it's absolutely a vital part of the experience I love these memes so much! I keep coming back to this to send my friends the HE WAS BORN IN THE JUNGLE one 😂

Noah Finch

Um, usopp was barely in water seven, and also where the hell is the absolute GOAT that is Sniper King??? Bad infographic smh :(

Noah Finch

Yeah hope they can fix that or something it's kinda a bummer not to be able to see it
