If you’re honest with yourself, you know why you haven’t caught that master thief yet and it's not because you're bad at your job …

CW:  Mentions of guns, one far off explosion, mentions of theft

This is a rewrite and rerecord of  the Thief and Detective series that I started back at the start of the year! I’ve changed a little bit of parts 1 and 2. Part 3 is brand new.

00:00 Part 1 - Where they meet in Paris

12:30 Part 2 - Where they meet in Mexico City

30:15 Part 3 - Where they meet in Nowhere, Canada

37:00 Part 3.5 - Where they meet halfway (spice)

-------------------------------

See what I did there with the title of the 3.5? :P
I'm excited to get back to posting y'all! Woo!

Wait... Why am I the one running... She should be running away...

I didn’t listen to the original audios, but I enjoyed the redux! I think my volume was too low, because I didn’t hear the explosion💥. Nothing beats “warming up” on a cold Canadian night🥶. I only heard 1of2 explosions this audio 😉

Sam Welsh

Great audio from start to finish, if she does go through with the heist, I hope she’ll get out of it alive and well. Especially with Oni’s reputation! Thanks for this, Clover!

OrangeMarvin

As someone who grew up with a crush on Carmen Sandiego (bad girl playing hard to get? Yes please!) I greatly appreciated this.

Awwwww bummer, maybe I made it a bit too low in the mix. The explosion happens when right before she says "that distraction" because she blew up the countess' fountain. I see what you did there ;) <3

Dont worry, its me Being Silly with my comment. Like those Comedies Akin to the Pink panther or Looneytunes where the Chasers end up being Chased by their targets.

I went back to the end of the first part, and I heard it around 12:17. I just missed some audio again Edit: I didn’t mean to make a new comment, I was trying to reply

Oh no, not you at all, totally my mixing! The engineering can be so tough sometimes. But glad it was there just a lil bit <3

I was listening to the audio right after a nap, so I was still tired and my volume was really low. I think it’s my fault for not paying attention.

Nowhere, Canada... I saw that in Canada when they talk their whole head is opening instead of just mouth moving o_O

Already had a listened on the YT Channel. Came for the spice which was a little somethin nice ❤️. But HOT DAMN some spice that was. ❤️‍🔥 Spice aside what really got my attention was that very end when I started to feel real relaxed, her jingle theme played in. Really soothed me. Gave me this sense of joy, and this sense of feeling of "I know who this is, and I'm pleased to be tuning in for them." I have downloaded but haven't gotten to listening to the last audio yet. About to right now. But thanks for that Clover. I was wonderin, if anyone else made that small request too but me. Hope they also felt the same.

They're built different up there, I blame them for a lot of stuff ;) I actually think Letterkenny is the best for tv Canadian representation hahaha

So glad you enjoyed it! I used to keep the little outro song at the end of all of my stuff but I had feedback from someone that they weren't a fan of it because it felt like it took them out of the immersion, which I totally get. I like that feeling of being taken out of the immersion myself, it makes it easier to slide into something new <3

Well. I suppose maybe... maybe just don't put it over ongoing conversations or anything going on at the end. I do feel it's nice because it can let the listener know they've reached the end. On a few occasions listening to other creators audios, sometimes I didn't realize I was at the end. Even then, IDK how any fan would not enjoy the jingle at the end. Also then again I am speaking in my own interests.

After listening to your lovely voice and hearing you say Oni. I thought it would be appropriate to leave a comment.
