Life Update, Future plans & Where I am at.... (Patreon)

Good morrow/ morning/ afternoon/ evening or whenever you read this :)

I will apologies now for the length of this post, as it's going to be very wordy and people may not enjoy these types of up...dates? uploads? Whichever sounds more right I suppose.

Okay, so first things first, Life Update! So over the past month or so, I have been through a whole whirlwind of emotions and moods. Without going into too much info, my IRL job has been causing me some next-level stress and anxiety, from asking too much, asking me to complete stuff I am not comfortable with doing, what feels like workplace bullying by management, to possible redundancy, to where we are now, trying to create a custom role just for me.

Thanks to everything happening at once, whilst trying to juggle my social life with family and friends, keeping up to date on my art projects and the like, my mental health has been on a rollercoaster.

As of now, work is okay and moving forward positively, just taking some time to get there and in place. However, unfortunately for my art life, the above has been too much for me to focus much at all recently, so I took an unplanned break from everything and just tried to sort out my life I guess haha.

So, moving on to my future plans, you may be asking "AP, I don't care about your work life, WHERE ARE THE ARTS!" and to your question I say, That is a fair question. SO (part 2) will come in different sections. So firstly, the frieren comic, I am, as of now, putting this on hold. I know I know, I'm sorry, I'm the worst. But, for a couple of reasons I have come to this action. Firstly, with everything that has happened above, I am just not feeling it at the moment. And secondly, I try to create my pieces/ comics where everything feels like it has come directly from the source material. When it comes to Frieren, I haven't watched or read the series at all, and if I can be blunt, don't want to right now. There is nothing wrong with the series, characters, or anything, I am just simply not really at that point currently where I can watch /read it. And because of that, I don't want to create something that may not reflect the characters or lore of the series.

So, for the time being, I will be working on personal pieces (that will still be posted, just may not be everyone's cup of tea) That can be comics, full art pieces, sketches, or anything else.

And that kind of jumps to the final point, Where am I?, simply put, I am getting over a burnout of life and would like to take things slow and get to producing quality pieces for you all once again. I just feel with how I am feeling currently, if I rush into this too fast, it may cause more harm than good.

Hoping the above is okay for you all, and don't worry, I will still be uploading frequently for you, it may just be a bit all over the place in the near future.
