Hello Friends,

Tickets have gone on sale for the Dave Carter Tribute Concert II, hosted by Jim Henry and me on September 10. We are planning a very special two-hour show, once again featuring old faves, little-heards, and hopefully, some surprises, with as few repeats from the last show as possible ... much to Jim Henry's chagrin. (Insert evil TG laugh here...mwahahaha!)

I've been in conversation with a few of you as to how to make nights like the Dave Carter Tribute Concert special for patrons. Some indicated they would appreciate having access to the replay beyond the standard 72-hours ticketholders get. Others suggested Jim Henry and I host a post-show Zoom  where we can all get together to chat about the songs, the process, the stories, or, really, anything you want.

So.

We'll do it all!

1. Patrons who buy a ticket to the show will have 7-day access to the replay. I haven't worked out the logistics of this, but it will probably involve delivering a second link to you once the standard 72-hours runs out for everyone else. A little clunky but I'll make it happen :).

2. ANY patron, whether you attend the show or not, can join our post-tribute Zoom party. I'll post the link for that soon.

You, my beloved patrons, are the spiritual and stabilizing force that inspires my work and ensures my success, and my gratitude for you is unending. How else can I serve? You'll let me know, won't you? Till then, I've got charts to print and melodies to learn, more sniffing around to do in the archives, strings to change, a newsletter to send, a livestream to play today (we're covering Townes & Prine, it's gonna be a good one) and -- oh! -- a certain tabby to shower with love. What a good life. Thank you. xotg & Pickles

You and Pickles look so contented, it makes my heart happy!

She's really coming around. Hard to believe this was the untouchable shelter hellion just 18 months ago... :)

Any chance you'll record the post-show zoom so that those of us who ccan't make it can experience it?

Tracy Grammer

Oh that's an interesting request, Beth, it hadn't occurred to me. JH is in charge of the Zoom so I'll discuss with him. Thanks!

Tracy Grammer

Beth, JH says this is beyond his capacities at the moment. I think all the Dave Carter songs he's learned may have finally fried his wires. LOL
