I believe that a good art can be created even with the simplest and most straightforward brush, and I often hear the same thought from prominent artists. However, the style of art will vary significantly, and that's undeniable.

I have several favorite brushes that I use regularly. They are simple and produce the desired effect. Firstly, there are the default brushes in Procreate: Paint Main (Painting) for fill some layers, Gesinski Ink (Inking) for special gain effect, Syrop (Inking) for lights, Ink Bleed (Inking) for lines, Writing Pen (Calligraphy) for lines, Soft Blend (Airbrushing) for soft shadows.

Plus, I always use a brush from the Jingsketch Basic 10 brushes by Jingsketch for sketching: Clean Sketch or Sketch Round (and Soft Brush sometimes). They are soft, convenient, and I don't need to spend a long time adjusting settings to achieve the desired effect. Sketches turn out clean, beautiful, and neat (Ink Bleed for frames here):

I also really enjoy pattern brushes. I don't use them as often, only in clothing or UI elements for the game. They are quite expensive, but I'm glad to have them. Here are a Lighthouse Liner Procreate Brushes by Pixel Buddha and how I use them.

Many suggest creating your own convenient brush, but I think if you have the opportunity to get brushes from other artists that suit you for free or for a fee, there's no point in spending a lot of time creating your own brush. Just take them and create! ❤️
