First off, the "sexy domesticity" here is adorable, I love it. The woman's positioning, grabbing onto him and basically wrapping herself around him is so well-posed! Especially her hands, like just the subtle way her fingers are placed in the middle frames add so much to the feeling of pleasure that's meant to be portrayed. James's expressions in the bottom two panels are perfect. They fit that subtle vibe of his where he doesn't over-emote but it's still clear what he feels. The little hearts in the air everywhere are a really nice touch too - especially the ones in the jagged "text" boxes around their hips! You really are stellar at showing dynamic movement in your comics and that's a perfect example (like I can easily visualize this as an audio-visual scene because of your visual cues). I know this is something I've said before but it feels like you improve on this with each work, adding new ideas and implementing various ones even more precisely to show it all. Also just wanna give a shout-out to your lining. I love it generally, but the slight variance also ads to the mood of a piece and I think also gives me a feel for a character or object that's mostly still versus when they're in motion or trembling - and maybe their inner state too. Like the lining around James in the bottom middle panel to me makes it seem like he's still worked up and winding down even if he's still and outwardly expressing a kind of quiet pleasure and enjoyment. Regardless, the way you line is something I've always liked about your art and I think only just put two and two together that I like so much, since I'm not an artist so it's not the first thing I'd notice. (I also think the dialogue is so fun. "Maybe we could use it as icing?" / "You're such a pervert..." - haha, I love that! It's funny but also really cute and shows a specific kind of chemistry in their relationship.)

Thanks! I usually have a bit of a cooler colour palette in my art (at least that’s how it feels to me), but here I wanted to show a really homely kind of coziness, and I’m glad it worked out, hehe. As for the hatching, I’m trying out a new linework style to make it look a bit more dynamic. I’ve also been looking at other artists’ linework and noticed that it’s often not perfectly clean, but the lines are really confident, and I’d love to reach that same level of professionalism

Hatching, that's right - I actually did used to know that term when I was trying to learn to draw a long time ago, heh. I love it, though. I never know how to describe it well, because saying "sketchy" sounds negative (and usually means something different regarding commissions and stuff anyway), but I guess I mean... I like when visual art that's drawn/painted/etc. doesn't go for a look that's as "realistic" as possible. The medium allows for such creativity that I love when techniques like that are used - it lends something unique and personal to the art - and also serves a purpose, like you said: it gives the work a level of dynamism that works especially well in comics. I'm a big fan of art that isn't perfectly "clean" and I think you struck a perfect balance here (like the folds in the clothing - that still impress me every time I see them - look very natural and real, and the hatched lines that are especially prominent in the parts that are most actively in motion - e.g. where James is actually pulling his shirt off versus the lines near the back of his shirt - draw a viewer's attention naturally to areas where they would naturally be drawn while watching a scene play out). I also think its use in shadowed areas is lovely. I guess I'm going on and on about this very particular thing but I really do love that style generally, and I think you're pulling it off really well, so I definitely wanted to go into some detail about it - it doesn't look messy, it looks intentional (I assumed it was, because I know you can also line things very cleanly as well so it wasn't about lack of ability) and adds liveliness to the piece. You also definitely did make it feel very warm and homey :) It was easy to tell more about the context of the relationship between the two even through just one scene on one page.
