(This is a long ass comment, so I apologize for that in advance 😅). But wowie Gentle, this was an amazing podcast. Thank you for answering my questions! With starting a new internship this week and being at a 8-5 for the first, I haven’t had time and energy to listen to many audios 😅, but I had to make the time for this!! And it was brilliant!! 🩵🩵 Similar to you, my sister was also a Pokémon fanatic. She did the whole nine yards too with collecting all the cards and buying all the games. I have personally only played Pokémon stadium 1 and 2 and Pokémon Sapphire, so I only know the original 151 and some extra Pokémon 😅. But I do have to know, who is/are your favorite Pokémon? I vibe with Snorlax. Also, thank you for the Monkey Man recommendation 😊. As an Indian myself, I would have never thought I’d be interested in the movie, but your summary and reviews made it seem very interesting to watch. 🩵 Also forgot, but sad to see that ponytail gentle will be no more. But you have definitely enticed me into wanting to see the new haircut and especially the beard?!?! I definitely want to see that. But only if you’re comfortable 😁😁

It’s such a wonderful feeling to be comfortable in your own skin 😌 and as a gal with longer hair, my god I felt it when you were going on about long hair struggles 🥲 frizz, wind, all that stuff, not to mention the fact that I’ve been doing a lot of research into my hair type and how to take care of it because I haven’t been happy with it recently— I’m trying a new shampoo and conditioner as of today, and I’m getting it cut today (side note, I rarely ever get it cut because of the same social anxiety you described 😭 shit sucks), fingers crossed things work out this time 🤞🏻 Also super glad to hear that your health seems to be improving!! It must’ve been a rough few months with getting sick back-to-back like that 😭 And I know you like to over-deliver, BUT I want to remind you to take care of yourself and not push yourself too hard 💕 not that I think you can’t handle your workload, I just like to throw out that reminder to people when I can, since I know it can be easy to forget to take care of yourself!

Come to Italy, I'll cook you all the pasta and pizza you want ✨. Monkey Man was so so so good, it kind of reminded me of Oldboy. Nice to see I'm not the only one thirsting over Dev Patel, especially in this movie!

I don't fret at all about the length, but instead really appreciate knowing what ya liked or found interesting! 😇 As for my favorite pokemon!? Haha, I shoulda mentioned that huh? 😅 So I'm a big fan of Totodile as my all-time fav 🌊 But then in no particular order I'm also big into Chandelure, Tyranitar, Pumpkaboo, Scraggy and his baggy pants haha. Those are just a few but I could just go on! 😅 Please let me know what ya think about Monkey Man if ya do end up watching it cause it'd be cool to see your cultural perspective on it 🐵💪🏼 And haha, I might just might tease another selfie down the road one day 😉

Haha no spoiler warnings needed but I thought that was a cute idea haha 🤣 I feel like I went through the whole long hair experience all at once over the course of 2023 cause everything you mentioned was what i was doing, trying out new products, new ways of figuring my hair type, watching videos, and it just was so time consuming all for it to never really get to how I wanted it to look. So the struggle is very real and I'm really that it's just an ongoing challenge but I'm hoping you can find a strategy, products, and styling method that works for you! Thank you for the well wishes with my new look cause I can't tell you how happy I am with it! Thank you also for the overall good vibes on me not forgetting to take time for myself. I have an issue with that sometimes where if I'm not doing something "productive" I feel like i'm wasting time, so I try to do a little bit here and there just so I feel I'm making headway with something new. But you're right, I shouldn't push myself too hard and I really do appreciate your warmness support, and understanding! 💖

I don't see anything dangerous in that 😉. I could go on and on with the recs, but I'll try to keep this short. I recently watched Lisa Frankenstein, Bones and All, and Perfect Blue. Three completely different vibes ahaha, but I really really liked all of them; I've also started the X-Men Animated Series. Let me know what you think in case you haven't seen any of them, or even if you have. I have so many more to list but I probably don't have enough space 🫣.
