Last year during my trip out to Japan I recounted a bit of my adventures in the form of Daily Check-In audios mixed with some recorded sounds of me being on the train, music playing from certain stores, or just listening candidly to my surroundings. I went back to that audio and compared it to this year's... and well, this one is nearly double the size of the former 🤭 What can I say? I wanted to bring you guys along as best as I could!

And what would a travel round-up be without some photos of points of interest, some food choices, and also some sort of views you'll only see from the land of the rising sun!

And that about wraps it up when it comes to my little check-in and photo share for Japan this year! I'll be getting into more of the nitty gritty details of certain things I ate, where I went, and what I did on this week's podcast, so stay tuned for that!

Thanks once again for all the support because if it weren't for you guys I wouldn't honestly be able to do things like this, so truly... from the bottom of my heart, guys, thank you 🥰

It’s awesome to know that the audio and photos could help make it feel more real! I always said that your guys’ support helped me experience things like this so it’s only fair for me to share it as best as I could 🥰

I prefer a digital display for my watch, but I love military time. I just think it makes heaps of sense, and it means I never get stuck. Wagyu beef is really, really common here. Unless you go somewhere very cheap you'll get the most cafes serving wagyu beef burgers. It sounds like your body was tired from climbing Mt Takao! I'm glad you had a rest day. With your hip/butt muscle pain, there's a stretch I do for that called a gluteus medius stretch. Here's a link: http://y2u.be/2zMMjowsfB0 That carry on with the video app is crazy. I would have been sad too! Overall, you're Japan trip sounded really wonderful and I'm glad it was relaxing for you. Thanks for taking us with you!

This was so fun to listen to nyaaa... It's so odd to listen to someone travel to different countries as someone who's barely even left their home town ah... Sounds like a whole different world of an experience Also. Digital clocks, definitely :3

Took me forever, but I finally finished up the audio 😅 And I gotta say thank you once again. You recorded these daily check ins and added in Japan’s ambiance and background noises, took tons of pictures for us, and even did the discord live calls just so we can experience some of Japan as well. All when you totally didn’t have to and could have just enjoyed your trip. So truly, thank you! And it was really fun following you around. It was the highlight of my mornings waking up and seeing what you posted from Japan. And seeing all the pictures and the land of the rising sun live from your viewpoint. It truly was like vicariously living through you this trip But man, you seemed busy, busy, busy and tired, tired, tired this trip. And I mean I don’t blame ya considering the lead up to the trip and how much you just needed to get away and do something to get the real life off your mind. But overall it seems you had a fantastic trip that you oh so needed. You had the ups and downs, whether it was the lost footage, getting tired of the food 😅, seeing new places and making new memories, or even just going back to familiar places and taking it chill, it sounds and looked like a great trip to give you that break you needed from life. And I know you mentioned some things about comparing this trip to the last one and it not hitting the same, but I do still hope this trip was everything and more for you. Cause from a spectator’s perspective, it was for me

Aaawwwww I left the patreon page and lost all my notes 😔 oh well. Thanks for keeping me company while I cleaned, Gentle! This was lovely, between the sound bites of your daily travels to your little voice notes and daily rumination - each entry felt like a sweet postcard from you, and it was just delightful. What a fun way to capture your travels; I’ve so enjoyed everything you’ve shared!!
