Summary: “We've all needed an apology from that certain someone. Be it a family member or a former lover. We feel this hanging dread when we think of times long past because on some level we feel we were wronged, and we wishes they'd just admit to their failings. How you tried your best to be the best person you could be for them, and yet... it was never enough.

But finally... by some miracle... they've come to apologize. To make peace. To allow you to move on with a little less weight in your heart."

Well, I wasn’t expecting to cry tonight. This was an audio that I both needed and didn’t need. It was heartwarming to hear an apology that I needed in life. But heartbreaking to know it came from someone who didn’t do anything wrong and not from the people who’ve hurt me. But the audio made me realize that maybe, deep down inside, I have forgiven some people despite the apology that never came. Because even though I did cry a little, I’m not as upset as I thought I’d be. Now I’m just in a weird funk 😅😅

I've learned long ago, in order to keep the bit of sanity I had left, I had to accept the apology that I'll never get. I think it's why I don't trust what people say to me whether it's kindness or untruths, I won't believe it anyway. Words don't mean as much as they used to anymore. It's what people do that speaks volumes to me now. But it's those words ".... it was never your fault.... " that still get to me despite my best efforts. I know it wasn't but I still got the brunt of it. Ah well, such as life. Keep people at a distance I say, therefore an apology is never needed.

This was lovely and heartwarming and wicked sweet. I also cackled at being called pure - it’s not a you thing, it’s a me thing 😂🤭 still, the full thing made me smile. Great job G.
