Content

Hello everyone!

This is s new type of content I have been working on for you. 3D assets.

In your endeavor to learn more about drawing it is useful to grasp the 3 dimensional nature of your subjects whenever possible. Combined with your source image this 3D render will help you to grasp more fully the planes and form that you are drawing.

This model is made to go along with the source images for my Drawing Essentials, Part 3 live workshop.

I have also added source images to the Drawing Essentials, Part 3 model pack.

Thank you, Stephen! You're the most dedicated teacher I've ever met! :)

Stephen i have a doubt / curiosity: L'Inconnue de la Seine, it is, according to what I read, the mortuary mask of a woman found in the 1880s. However, Charles Bargue's course had already been published in 1866-1871 . Would the Bargue plate be another mask very similar?

Im so happy about this. Im still so lost in creating the head. I mean I have a general idea of how to set it up but once the details need adding i have trouble. Practice peactice. Do you have a tutorial on step by step head design? The "wire frame" I saw on your website there seemed to be a workshop on constructing the head but I could find no video

For some reason I can't access the model pack. it gets me to the google drive but the file doesn't open.

This AFTER I take dozens of screen shots of the model from different angles to study & ready myself for Mar 1!! 😂 Wow this is fantastic! Much thanks!

Natalie Higgins

Thank you so much, Stephen!! It helps so much to visually see what happens to the shadows on the face when it moves!! What’s happening on March 1?!?

Lya Morales

Ulrik Gustafsson

So cool - this was really helpful - great job, Stephen, almost like having the real cast !!

Cynthia Hickson

Oh by the way..yes this beautiful death mask was somehow used as a cast to make Annie the manikin for life saving education which became our training manikins for CPR....which I’ve been involved with training for years...I always thought that was such a unique and curious event. I still don’t know what exactly happened to this young girl but she did drown in the river....

Ingrid Oertli

Stephen, thank you so much! There aren't enough hours in the day to see it all, much less do it all.

Allison
