Music! (Patreon)

This is a short, casual post where I’d like to gather all the references to various musical tracks that have appeared (in one way or another) in my drawings (most often in their titles). I love music and listen to a wide range of genres, constantly discovering new bands, ensembles, and solo artists. It doesn't matter to me how popular they or their tracks are; if I like the music, I add it to my playlist (which currently holds around 4,200 tracks).

Oh, and one more thing. Did you know why my heroines are named Faeena/Faina, Varvara, Elizabeth, and Aurora? Well, Aurora is named after Aurora from the game "Child of Light", while Elizabeth Moray is named after Elizabeth from "BioShock Infinite" and Vera Moray from "Dishonored". All these games were released between 2012 and 2014 - roughly the same time my heroines were created. Yes, they really are that old. However, the situation with the dryad sisters isn't quite as straightforward: they are named after songs—specifically, Varvara is named after the БИ-2 song "Варвара", and Faeena is named after the На-На song "Фаина".

Plus, the names Varvara and Faeena are versatile: you can place the stress on any vowel, and you won't go wrong!
