Uncle Art

Great hip hop debate. Shoutout to Akaash for mediating.

Spaceless

Julz is white. She’s adopted. Her adoption parents are Cuban

Jack

What a way to start my day off. Gangang

👌

Derek Dong

1:33:35 Schulz, you said it in the last Patreon.

Herman Joseph Rome as 'h2o'

Also, the whole race convo as it pertains to R. Kelly/Chris Brown/Dr. Dre comes back to the conversation about talent. YesJulz never gave the culture a Chronic, 12 Play, 10-15 years of hit singles etc. Yesjulz gave the culture 3 minutes of an alright sex tape and while she do got ass, she doesn't have enough equity in the culture. Same reason Kareem Hunt is on a team right now, his talent outweighs his transgressions in eyes of public opinion.

Biggie

Yo I thought this was a sports podcast?! Only one sports topic

Drowz

This episode is so trash... what the fuck are y’all even talking about this shit for so long for... some1 say do we have any deportes wtf

Tre howard

I’m really tired of how everything Schultz does turns into a political or racial debate. When they’re just having fun it’s the best content out. But I swear this shit gets so old so fast.

George Wilson

I’m surprised they didn’t discuss Odell at least not so far and I’m almost done

EdYKB

that first 20 min was fiya

Kadeem Motley

Another long moment of Schulz kinda missing the point lmao

Knucklehead11b

Shultz cooked y’all with this julz shit. Kaz continually made claims and Shultz asked him to back his claim up right after. He never did. Akaash was ok with saying his point of view had bigoted portions. All he wanted was for kaz to say parts of the hip hop culture had bigotry. Kaz and Alex y’all couldn’t keep the same energy because you know it’s wrong. O btw if a black woman talks shit on me, imma talk some shit back. That’s all she did, but because she’s not black she couldn’t possibly talk shit back to black women. Shits hypocritical. You guys have some of the same points of views as white supremacy. Bigotry is bigotry.

Marichal

I think you guys need to get more into the sports stuff. That’s what this started off as and it is becoming more dominant on other things. Remember folks are paying for this. Is this a cash grab or are you providing what people are paying for? As for today’s episode I’m sorry but Schulz you’re need to be right constantly trumps what is being said by others. You’re a smart guy and so you know what you are doing. I ask that you listen more and speak less. You guys spent a huge part of the show arguing about something that for one is a given on culture. Nobody! Keeps the same energy on their culture and what is there’s. That’s a fact! If we did the world would be a better place because we’d go into cultures respectfully. If you really want to understand black culture especially Andrew. Stop with the narrative of your right. It makes you look bad and gives a false narrative on who you are as a person. I think you a good dude. Listen more, speak less

U.G.

Love you Schulz, BUT YOU GOTTA STOP CUTTING PEOPLE OFF MID-SENTENCE AND EXPECT THEM TO LET YOU GET YOUR POINT OFF ASWELL.

U.G.

That and I think they should ease up off Kaz and his personal relations/money. Schulz already said he lost out on 6 figures because of “The Mob” so why go and potentially do the same for Kaz? Asshole to asshole, just like he said and agreed with “You gotta check your own.”

akash

andrew said the n word literally last friday.

kw

I got your adidas plug what you need fam! Send me your sizes we cutting schulzy off after the slander

Sola_G

Memph Bleek... Marricon... Betwixt 😂😂😂👍🏾🙏🏾👌🏾🔥

Toren R. (KESA)

I'm about as out of the loop as you can be when it comes to Yes Julz, I get that the T-Shirt was straight up shitty...that said, I'm not sure I understand how this interview was that bad...if you have an issue with someone, aren't you SUPPOSED to say names? don't we hate diss tracks where rappers allude to someone instead of straight up take shots? I don't know, I'm probably way off lol Someone school me.

Bear necessities

Schulz far to many times you have undermine and cut people off. contradicted yourself in various arguments especially this one. If you sat back and actually listened this would not have took that long to rap up. We all love the flagrancy. But trying to have discord and a opinion on a situation you don't fully understand Is problematic. Starting to turn back into the Guy Charla called you out for when he had the intervention. Just cause you have a opinion doesn't mean we all have to care or agree. Lets get back to keeping the buttholes tight! Lol

mfarley2

Schultz dont hear/listen/comprehend shiit. People talk he just cut them off for an hour straight

Carl Guinn

Andrew - Fat Joe is Puerto Rican . Most Puerto Ricans are slave descendant, Meaning they have BLACK blood. That's why he gets a pass.

Rell Conner

They joints look like football cleats, without the cleats 👌🏾

AngryNewYorker

Shultz you gotta listen more man. Culture is culture man. You’re completely ignoring everything they say in an attempt to be right. When you defer judgement on a situation or attempt to obtain knowledge (I.e. when you asked kaz about white people’s acceptance into hip hop culture, which might I add YOU admit to not be an expert in) you have to accept that logically you’re admitting that you don’t know much on the topic at hand. When you’re saying you’re being objective, you also gotta realize objective does not always mean correct. How can you make a decision on anything you don’t know much about? When trying to figure out how people of color feel about whites in our culture, maybe you should listen to the people of color in the room instead of taking your own experience on the matter. As one New Yorker to another you cant tell me your experience wasn’t different than people of color’s, even if you are the child of immigrant owners of a dance 🕺🏻💃🏻 studio (no disrespect lol). Kaz, you gotta admit that we do allow outsiders a smaller leash. However that applies to all cultures. If you’re not of the culture and then attempt to be part of it, you’re gonna get tested until your rep is built up. Same shit in the drug game, same shit in sports, same shit in life. You can’t just walk on the court and expect niggas to just pick you on the 5 v 5 if there’s more than 10! Not unless you’ve built up the rep on the court or built it up elsewhere and have the right optics (and in hip hop it’s not even “white” people, it’s corny people....wild white people just so happen to be 🌽🌽🌽🌽 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️). Akaash holding it down as usual, and I’m glad to see some new clothes!!!! Still love the content and will continue to keep the asshole tight af 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

Dave Jean

👌🏿 yo is it me or is the hand sign also the white power sign?

DeeeHall

Sad thing is I haven’t even listened yet but I’m dreading listening to Andrew doing that whole Andrew thing...

Flagrant Takes

20 minutes in...FIRE!!! Let’s goooo.

Sam miller

I love Andrew but he has dropped some n bombs on the brilliant idiot's podcast a few times 🤫

Thebe

This wasn't nice, the conversion was jumping all over the place. Please just take it back to light hearted shit. We listen and pay for laughter and to escape. Now we're just listening to Twitter conversation

David Duda

Perfect name for the episode. Needed less julz talk and more flagrancy

Dizzle

I feel like Schulz loses the point in his quest to keep people consistent in their argument, just because you feel a way about ONE thing does not mean you feel that same way about that thing in ALL situations.

Nate E

Can we talk about the fact that Akaash Singh should be way more famous than he is. Like this man should be making way more money than he is making. That man is so vital and he doesn't get the due. I love kaz and drew but god damn Akaash is a god damn treasure on this shit.... Keep it tight

Rito

Is this a sports podcast?

Daryl K

This at times just feels like Andrew is trying to recreate what the Brilliant idiots almost turned into before he almost got blackballed and charla called him out. Also yeah you got a bad deal but not every white person in the culture who gets hate is simply because they are white. I got very confused when he compared himself to julz and post malone is that the hill you wanna die on? Also Kaz who actually is the most familiar didn't want to talk about it but it felt like andrew pushed the issue simply because he wanted to be validated in not losing jobs because he was doing alot instead just blanketing it on racism. He definetly caught alot of undeserved flak but if he can't admit he was going kinda hard than he really didnt learn anything from it.

Daryl K

Thats part of the point its too long of a history to go over litterally every year her name comes up in a similar situation you really gotta review it. But just like Andrew admits to not knowing but has the strongest opinions and listens the least and interrupts the most.

Tre howard

I couldn’t agree more.

Married at 23

I need to get in the comments more often. I though I was the only one that thought Schulz needed to listen more and speak less. Also shout out to Schulz for the Joe Rohan interview. That was dope and it’s cool to see you getting your deserved shine bro! 👌🏾👌🏾

Derrick

Who the fuck wanna hear y’all go back and forth about some random shorty. Do better next week.

Tyrese

Woah I don’t think I’ve watched a bad ep in a while but this was one of them. Let’s get it together boys👌👌

Tyrese

I know he’s the most successful but I hope my boy Schulz isn’t starting to think that we only tuning in to listen to him speak. I know myself I became a patron because I became attached to all three guys and respect the dynamic of them as a team.

Lorenzo Sheppard

I ain’t paying for Brilliant Idiots part 2.

DeeeHall

I just hope they actually read and take heed to these comments.

Tim Duenas

Fuck. This episode was wack as shit. Do fucking better

Mellow

Kaz is wrong as fuck about Iggy. Black people didn't care about her until she blew up. Before that, she put out mixtapes and was a xxl freshman, and no one said shit.

GnHashi

Ppl were trashing her when she joined the xxl freshmen

GnHashi

I think he understood by the end of the podcast, akaash hit it right on the nail

Simon English

The funniest part about when Kaz doesn't wanna join in on the fun is when he's sitting there trying not to laugh so hard 😂

Simon English

but on the point of julz, in hip hop culture especially we've seen white people come into the culture, make a bunch of money from it, disrespect it, then dip. It's annoying to try to make her not white and compare her to Jennifer Lopez and Fat Joe because she has some small percentage of latino in her. She is a white woman because she receives all the benefits of white people. Jennifer Lopez and Fat Joe do not get to leave the culture and go and be white. The issue with Julz is that she doesn't seem to have respect and we gave her many chances. You do have to walk on eggshells in someone else's culture because nobody wants to be capitalized upon.

Simon English

also the shorter leash doesn't depend on people's skin color, it's cultural equity. You can have an opinion, but there is a way of going about it. Rosenberg has had strong opinions about hip hop artists and music in general. He's usually respectful about it while still having an opinion.

Simon English

Last thing: all of you in the comments complaining are PUSSY. This is the point of flagrant, to talk about things that are hot button, that maybe make people angry. A lot of grown ass men are in these comments begging for dick jokes. Let the podcast have range and substance. Telling someone what to make their content about because you paid $5 is retarded and entitled as hell. Honestly if you don't like it, don't pay and don't listen but don't tell someone what they should and shouldn't make

Quentin

Man Schulz went full Schulz on this episode.

Quentin

And buddy up in the comments who said that Kaz & Alex have some of the same view points as white supremacy is sooooo loud and wrong.

GnHashi

Its just honest dialogue

marlon

nigga then gtfo

Dante

Bullshit he’s funny but a lot jus random cursing

Kaddeem W

I think he means the conversation about YesJulz was bad

Kaddeem W

right, i still like Iggy. I never understood why people came for her.

Kaddeem W

Akassh held this discussion together

Xavion Gonzalez

andrew really gotta stop telling other to be quiet and not interrupt when he's the main person doing that

Seviin

Kaz was acting like a straight BITCH!!!!!!!

John Y.

If you're on iPhone, go to the podcast app, "library" section, hit edit, hit "Add a Podcast by URL..", then add this

Reemo

I knew Schultz end point once he was going so hard to establish that the chick was "Cuban" He's playing chess and Kaz playing checkers on most racial/political debates Y'all need to have a guest with a stronger voice come thru for those types of debates

Pulkit

It was heated, but I liked the honest dialogue and overall episode to be honest.

Bruce Purnell

Fellas, respect. Great debate. But I believe the context Kaz and Alex left out is latinas who are African descent have cultural passes when it comes to the N word. The Caribbean Slave trade created the descendants of a Kid Mero and a Fat Joe, who’s father is Afro-Latino and his mother is Spanish/Taino Peurto Rican. Yess Julz is not Afro-Latina, so she’ll never get that pass.

Junior

Shultz you always try to make people think like you. Ruining a conversation. Same shit is happening on Brilliant Idiot.

subtleB

FUCK YO, I'm having a hard time recovering after constant rewatching (13min - 25min) over & over LMAO tears over here!

Ian Summers

These last few weeks have been some of the best podcasts. No fat on these episodes, just the guest and current events, through the flagrant lens. Less of the stuff I’ve complained about in a prior post. I’m really really enjoying them. I’d love it if you guys could get Kamaru Usman. He’s a great interview and new 170 pound ufc champ, grew up in Nigeria and has a great story.

JCR

Can someone please invite me into the Discord chat? My Discord # is 9505. Thanks 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

John Timmons

I need and invite to the discord also #5064

Dariel

Shoutout to those Sox that Andrew got on. I’ve had the same ones for like 5 years... time for a new pair

Jevon Jakeem Hill

Andrew was trying to apply qualities that don't apply to Julz is the point Kaz was trying to make.

JestInCase

It seems that Andrew is dissecting the hip-hop culture and the ties to black culture, and is basically trying to see the specifics in how non-black people can operate in it; it's obvious that there is a shorter leash and it does stem from resentment, but it can't be helped since it's so closely linked to culture. I agree that in the case of Julz, her actions alone puts her in said spotlight so she is being scrutinized because of it, but I get what Andrew was trying to paint, which is that white people are under more resentment because of their race, but with that being said, there's history and context that comes with the culture. Sure, Kaz can say that you're okay in the hip-hop community if 1) you stay respectful and abide by certain guidelines, and 2) you provide time and contribute to the community, but white people will always be under more scrutiny simply because they are white. Being an outsider of culture is one thing, but there is more to it if there's history between cultures. Not saying that hip-hop isn't as open or as general as comedy culture, but like Charlamagne often says, much like how there are certain advantages to a certain community, there can be disadvantages as well.

Juan

Yo assholes. Anybody got or know if a good and cheap deals on flights?

HD

Google Scottscheapflights and Skyscanner

Juan

Ight bet. I'll check them out. got a quick mission to go smash. ✊🏽

Nik P

You are 100% right. I was just saying that Schulz needs another intervention especially after the way he treated Alex on the non patreon ep a few weeks ago. He really rubbed me the wrong way when he told Alex that if he fought him, he will pay for it. Kind of showed his character there.

Nik P

That being said, the first 20 mins were fire. That's why I signed up for the patreon, to laugh like that.

Edsi

Dawg ADAM22 is one of the biggest white personalities that constantly goes against the grain

Edsi

Not at all man Kaz, Alex and Akassh destroyed Andrew in the begining of the discussion the last bit of the conversation was trash

JestInCase

Add me on the discord please! JestInCase#7981

David vargas

Am I the only to look up yes julz porn right after they talked about it...

Blaze

🤣

Marco Clarke

The Michael Rapoport/Meek Mill situation is completely different than what Schulz is trying to argue because people came at Mike because he was shit talking Meek at a time where it was bigger than rap the man was putting in ground work for prison reform. That's not the time to say he's wack at anything.

Marco Clarke

R.Kelly and Chris Brown are R&B that's not hip hop smh

La Monte Eves

Kaz was hella pussy from the 17:00 to the 28:29 time stamp

John Doppelhauer

that is like saying folk and country are not the same thing,

Stanky Pack

I just don’t get why Kaz didn’t say Adam22... would’ve been the end of that argument
