So Long, Alabasta (Think Piece and Upcoming Changes) (Patreon)

I thought that Alabasta was an absolute masterpiece of an arc. It has definitely solidified my love for this story. I won't even try to describe the respect I have for Oda; his writing is genuinely some of my favorite that I have encountered (not just in terms of manga, but in general).

Favorite arc moments: Luffy punching Vivi into her senses (such a pivotal moment for Vivi's development), Zoro leveling up (because... of course), Luffy having Zoro save Smoker from drowning (highlights Luffy's genuine kindness so well), Tashigi helping the crew (big turning point for her in my eyes), Robin joining the crew (slowly getting to see her true character throughout the arc was amazing) ... and gosh, so many more that I didn't even mention. PEAK arc.

Favorite Character this arc: I've gotta give it to Luffy. I have to. He beat a warlord of the freaking sea (absolutely insane). Helped Vivi save her country. Was an absolute legend while doing so. Close second is Bon Clay... his sacrifice at the end was so touching. An absolute goat of a character.

Best WTF moment: Bon Clay posing as Cobra and tricking the Rebel Army. I totally fell for it haha. Koza getting shot was up there too... Genuinely thought my guy was a goner lol!

These are just a few moments off the top of my head... Let me know what your favorite moments are! I would love to discuss!! I also wanted to mention that starting next reaction (coming this afternoon) I will be switching over to the anime rather than One Pace (long overdue, I know) and will be pausing more frequently when I go off on a yap session! Notebook has been secured too :) I'm currently setting the pace at 2 anime episodes a video but I think I want to try to get further ahead on Patreon.
