So glad to get another Imaro story with this excellent reader!

It's a Ghost.

As a cultist, I'd rather read through the lens of Cthulhu.

It's a Ghost.

The Maasai people came up once before on the show in a very different story, Irvin S. Cobb's "The Unbroken Chain."

It's a Ghost.

I enjoyed this story and the previous Imaro story you covered so much that I just ordered myself a copy of Imaro.

An Interview with Milton J Davis of MVmedia would be wonderful. He is directly responsible for alot of the current popularity of Afrofuturism, Cyberfunk, and especially Sword and Soul. He brought Charles Saunders out of obscurity for alot of people.

I'm a "fundamentalist" Christian in the way that I do what the Bible says. I understand his viewpoint and his interpretation of being in the world and not of it. But, I disagree with his statement of what reading through the lens of Christ. Looking at the world with the lens of Christ means seeing Christ in everything. If the universe was made by Him, elements of His character should be visible in all of it.

Herakles spent some time as a goatherd, I believe. This was part of his penance for crushing the skull of his music tutor - ol' Herk was consistent in his use of inappropriate violence throughout his life, its part of his charm - and during his shepherding days he killed his first lion barehanded style to boot. Which is to say, Imaro is appropriately mythic in even an Indo-European style. This story was badass. Please keep covering more Saunders stories, don't wait for Thewly to do it.

Speaking of Tarzan... when are you guys doing some Tarzan?

Thew-ly is a welcome monthly addition, even for us heretics who observe March Ashton Smith AND March is for Draculas! 💪🦄🧛‍♂️

Late to comment on this, but assigning a name to a type of animal reminds me of Native American stories about Coyote and other animals that talk about the whole species like a specific character.

That story was action packed from the start to the end! Couldn't put it down!
