Such an honor to have my comment mentioned! I only recently finally got around to commenting, but I've been a listener since you were still doing the actual Lovecraft stories. Incredibly validating to get noticed so quickly.

Hey guys! Sorry if this is a weird thing to ask. I was wondering and I’m not sure if the art was made both by you all or someone else. I was wondering if I could possibly get the old logo and new logo tattooed on me? With your permission to use the art. I’ve been listening to your podcast for over 6 years now. Re listened over and over again. Your podcast is hands down my absolute favorite. I’m covered in tattoos of things I like. For an example I have a small animated cow dressed as a sheriff tattooed on me because I love westerns. Your podcast has helped me push through hard times and good. Hopefully this isn’t a weird thing to ask and an okay thing to ask on here?

War on emus reminds me of when British colonials in India once put a bounty on cobras. The locals dutifully began killing and bringing in cobras and collecting the bounty. There was a steady stream of dead snakes being cashed in, until the Brits discovered that the locals had cleverly begun breading cobras.

That rare moment Chris had make sure the joke Chad was telling was as bad as he thought it was, and Chad is desperately trying to move it long lmfao. Vintage hp podcraft

I did not know about tape drops, but now I want to try my hand at it in the modern day to support some bands I like. Seems like a fun DIY project. On an unrelated note, I'm gonna start rereading Dracula this week to prep for the new Nosferatu movie by Robert Eggers of The Lighthouse and The Witch fame. Early critic reviews call it: "Horny and animalistic", and I've also heard that Willem Defoe acts alongside 2000 live rats! So I'm sold. Maybe good material for an Extra Credit? March is for Draculas isn't too far off.

Ok, so now I won’t rest until I can convince someone to make an AI-generated song of the younger Chad and Chris singing The Chipmunks Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late).

Y'all got to be nicer to your younger selves. Those early shows are still great - you guys definitely stood out from the pack back then if only for the simple level of production you were doing. A lot of those early podcasts sounded like people recorded them at their kitchen table with their laptop mic and didn't know how to edit. HPLLP was a cut above (even) then, and that's partly the reason why we all stick around now. This was the first podcast I listened to where I started to save the episodes so I could re-listen to them again and again. Be proud of what you've built, I guess is what I'm saying. No need to be so self-deprecating all the time.

Oh man! I couldn't help but pause when Chad mentioned a "Segal with a patch that WASN'T in the text", and apparently I wasn't alone as Chris had stop and question that just minutes later lol

I read Uzumaki as a result of your special episode and mostly enjoyed it. It probably would have been better had I not read it in one afternoon.
