Didn't Elton John sing about Tony Danza?

Re: Dead Space, isn't the "Isaac" character from Isaac Asimov rather than Newton? Since Clarke and Asimov were contemporaries and (from what I understand) good friends.

It's a Ghost.

As someone who is 7 or 8 years younger than you guys, I can definitely confirm that I watched my fair share of Boy Meets World growing up and that I would definitely expect most Americans my age to totally know who you mean if you were to say the name Topanga. Like when you first mentioned Danielle Fishel, I immediately thought, "That's Topanga, right?" That being said, the "public property" aspect of fame sounds terrifying, especially the swarmy, creepy man kind of thing, and I really don't get it. I'd much rather just see Harrison Ford eating a salad, or better yet, have a random interaction with someone famous where there's no acknowledgement I know who they are.

It's a Ghost.

I also took your advice and watched Lake Mungo and thought it was great! It definitely creeped me out and gave me some serious goosebumps at times.

Y’all are friends with TOPANGA?! She’s so cool.

I got mentioned twice! Squee!! About the Dresden thing: if you read 9 books, you gave it a fair shake. I love them, but am just the right flavor of nerd for them. Love you guys!

Episode 14: the street is definitely one of my favourite in the category bad story, good episode.

My wife conducts bat surveys also... I'm not sure what she asks them, tbh I've never thought to ask!

Chris: "I wouldn't recommend the Dreaden Files to anyone..." Me: Looks over at my bookshelf -> sees all the Dresden Files books -> thinks that it's my favorite series and all the tines I recommended it -> starts to sweat

According to Wikipedia, the English word Chitin comes to us from Greek via Frenc . I'm sure the correct pronunciation is with a hard K sound, but in Greek the first letter isχ, which we variously pronounce as both chai and kai. The fact is, it's a whole other sound that is not native to English speakers voices. In French, it's spelled with a "ch", and they didn't have the letter K in their alphabet until the 1800s (and only due to loanwords). Maybe it would be spelled with a k if we had gotten it directly? My point, and I do have one, is that this word, like *all" words , has gone through several hoops to get here, it bears the marks of its journey. English literally has no rules, so you go ahead and pronounce Chitin with all the onomatopoeiac power you possess. Stay tuned until whenever I find an excuse to tell you how I discovered how the silent E came to be

I volunteer to read The Cold Equations for an episode

I recommend giving the other Riddick movies and/or games a shot. The Chronicles of Riddick is a space opera in which he is and unlikely character in. It tries a bit too hard but it is fun. Escape from Butcher’s Bay is the best movie IP video game I have yet to play. The movie just called Riddick tries to be like Pitch Black and almost gets it.

Greetings Chris and Chad. I've finally caught you Magnificent Creepy Bastards! When I was looking for something like your Lovecraft coverage earlier this Spring, yours was the top recommendation, and the algorithm worked. If only the same was true for Godzilla content! I told myself that 800 episodes was a lot, and might not follow you past the Lovecraft content. But DARN if it wasn't so good to revisit that stuff with you guys! I wasn't sure I would subscribe to get the complete coverage, but your content is so good and right in my sweet spot. Now I've finally caught you, just in time for Halloween! Your Lovecraft content scratched the itch in just the right way, and your expanded literary coverage really capitalizes on your strengths . It's clear how much work goes into your production. Now with that said, I'm ready to participate in real time, to whit: I don't think anybody brought this up, but does Gus kinda sound like the Hancock dealeo or nah? Also, The Everything box was a profoundly moving story and I'm off to explore this author a bit. Heather and Rachel are some of the best readers you have. Thank you!

Not sure if someone made the correction yet but I was mistaken in which Isaac, Isaac Clarke was named after. The Isaac Clarke is named after is Isaac Asimov, not Newton. I said the the wrong Isaac famous for three laws when I wrote my comment. I went back and corrected it but it was too late for when you recorded this feedback show. lol

They read my comment, I’m famous now 😎
