Queen of tears is so good! You don’t have to be married for this to hit. You’re going to get all the feels. There are actually a lot of actors that you will recognize through the series. You asked about some of the actors: 12:21 he was in Celebrity. 21:07 You know him as the brother of the villain in Vincenzo. He also made a cameo in IONTO. 28:47 Yes the green jacket was in Vincenzo, but the two actors were also in CLOY. 48:32 Sang tae from IONTO. I would watch along if you watch this or lovely runner if you decide on either of them.

I'm gonna give this drama another chance and watch it with you cause I dropped it, it wasn't hooking me.

chelsey

the expectations this needs to live up to for me are impossibly high, but we'll see !! i've heard everyone talking about this being a reversal of traditional gender roles, which def made me more interested

Lele

i really love this drama!!! i started watching it without knowing anything about its ratings or whatever. it was so funny, emotional, relatable... I really hope you like it.

I haven't seen this drama yet!! it is on my list though, and I just know that it's going to be excellent!! The main lead never disappoints!! But I just binged and caught up with Lovely Runner, and I 10/10 recommend it!! it has some cringe moments, and some plot points that confuse me, but that adds to the charm, and I love the overall story!!

I haven’t watched it yet but I hear your in for a ride and I’m glad I get the chance to watch it with you lol

Lele

"meet me at room 304, 34 minutes, not a second early" LMAO your commentary is hilarious

Lele

fun fact: the psychiatrist that hyunwoo sees in this episode is the same guy that plays moon sang-tae (gang-tae's older brother) in it's okay to not be okay! there's definitely a lot of people you'll recognize from other shows throughout this one.

I was waiting to watch this so now I’ll just watch with y’all. I actually really liked this first episode

i just finished this drama yesterday and am looking forward to watching it again with you. your confusion about their relationship situation was funny. in this episode we clearly see that they actually did marry out of love for each other, but the 3 years of living under one roof with her family basically ruined it all.

Manar

I haven't seen this drama yet but this episode just hooked me up

Okay I'm catching up super late but I really enjoyed that! Someone mentioned below how it's flipping some traditional gender roles and I totally see that because if this was a drama released a few years ago they would definitely be playing the opposite character. I didn't know anything about this but with the title queen of tears I did think it was going to be way more serious and sad in nature and I'm pretty happy it's not. This is giving me the sense that it will have a similar tone to things like crash landing on you and Vincenzo in it's humorous parts. Even the portion where he was drinking with his friend I was dying because from the thumbnail I thought that was going to be some heart-wrenching melodramatic moment and this guy is just bawling that he's so cute. I definitely feel like they did actually fall in love 3 years ago and things just didn't progress like either of them thought. I don't know how many flashbacks we are going to get but one thing that stands out to me is her personality was already kind of bad when they met. She was an intern but was behaving badly and stood her ground even when he called her on it and her personality seems the same even at their wedding so I'm kind of curious as to how they really fell in love and how different was she because right now it seems like he knew who he was marrying so what changed? Maybe he just really thought she would stand up for him in front of her family and he didn't so he got disillusioned? Although I am still confused about where we are going I think this episode set the tone and I understand kind of what to expect next I feel like there's going to be a lot of (frustrating) miscommunications between our main couple as to why their marriage went downhill and they already set up a lot of characters who could be scheming to separate them for their own reasons so I'm expecting it to be both fun, frustrating and emotional will definitely continue this one with you.

PS I'm also expecting this to be a drama where there is tons of FA-SHUN and flashy scenes
