Content

Would you rather this page be ONLY kpop content? pls read

Following my recent post/poll, just wanted to see your thoughts. This is not for those who like kdrama only, but you can drop your thoughts below!

If so, I'd imagine that if I did that, content could be split as such:

KPOP page: As it's been minus kdramas. (Variety, survival, live stages, album reactions etc. only)

Think like Kess & Han's patreon, set variety weekly rotation, and whatever else.

2nd Page: Anime, kdramas, western live action tv shows

Please don't jump to conclusions or start tweaking, I'm just sharing my thoughts, thinking outi loud, nothing drastic mannnnnn chillll.

The only thing that could change is the kdrama only peeps moving house. I'm not too sure how I can have everything together including the kpop

honestly, as long as you utilize the collections feature properly, there shouldn't be much of an issue having everything on the same page. saves you the hassle of having to keep track of multiple patreons.

yes! I know the rotation for all the content can be frustrating for those who only want certain things. People who strictly watch K-content having only an x amount of videos per week; same for people who watch anime and western reactions. But I don't mind that at all personally.

imani

it would feel a bit strange for me personally if kpop and kdramas were on separate pages (and tbh I also just don’t wanna subscribe to two pages 😭)

Phani

I (and most customers (what ur patrons are)) don’t want to pay for an additional service/patreon for stuff we’re currently/historically have gotten for a single price.

johnnyxtsunami

I don’t think there is a need to separate all the content, I understand your reasoning for the anime, I still think k content (content in general should be together) it’s just how you post, just an opinion but I don’t think you need to cater to the minority and build on the majority and add more people who love it all

Alyson

I would prefer Kpop content and Kdramas to be on the same page.

chelsey

i agree that k-content should all be together. why not just make separate tiers on here so they don't see things they don't want in the feed? (even though i still think you're overthinking that a little but idk 😵‍💫) idk is that too complicated? or just doesn't make sense? i'm sure this isn't something you haven't thought of anyways lol

totally understand! just to help though, people like yourself on 10, would basically be paying the same amount even if on two pages, because it'd be 5 on both. just seeing what people's thoughts are is all! :)

not too comp per say, i just want only two tiers lmao, it feels easier and it's less checkboxes to check on every upload that goes up LOL. i'm going to look a little more into the separate tiers portion.

nah this is exactly what i want, group opinions. i hope no one is thinking i'm being drastic and making changes right now and stuff. i just can't think for everyone but myself and that's what the post is saying lol. for instance, on youtube, the results are opposite. They're saying they'd want a kpop only hub, while having the other things separated as well. Imma just messaged you on Discord actually if you still use it! If not Imma dm you j!

yO! preciate the comment! i'm asking because i'm on different patreons myself and i see the issues, at the end of day, can't please everyone but i'm wanting to see if any of that are deterring factors as kayla said. Someone pulls up and want anime but see the upload ratio is different, do people just leave? Also some of the kdrama peeps want anime here, but there's peeps who don't want anime at all, trying to balance that seems tough.

yeah makes sense, you're never going to please everyone tho !! all i was thinking about reading these posts is i'm lowkey worried for you long term, bc i have no idea how keeping up with all of these types of content is sustainable. even PD had to completely cut out the variety stuff, and if he can't keep it up idk who can lol

we know me, overthinking is very likely the case / possibility here but for good reason imo :P

Love ya for that, variety stuff won't be done in PD's capacity. I'll have some, and it won't be every group and may not be all the time. I feel like my thing is mainly wanting to watch shows/series with you guys while also listening to albums and occasionally watching some groups content for humor. Even outside of reacting, I would be watching all of the anime I'm trying to react to, at my own pace. So, the idea is record what I'd normally do, and not extend myself too much for health and sanity purposes. Most of our dialogue in terms of engagement/comments is from kdramas and such, so I'm going to prioritize what drives the community forward.

I'm gonna start tweaking!! Jk honestly I think kpop and kdramas are fine together. Having a higher tier for kdramas is perfect imo. I would like some western reactions but idk how you would incorporate that into this. Maybe a second tier on anime page? I feel like that would kinda make sense.

mckenzie

i personally am interested in watching all 3 types of content so ofc i would love if it was all on one page if you were fr gonna change anything but i also think the way you have it set up right now is good too!! k content i think should definitely always be together on one page regardless of anime getting added or not :) honestly i think if you choose to keep anime on the other patreon you could just add western shows on there so instead of it being an anime only page its more of a patreon for any non kdrama show if that makes sense !!

jam

hi hi just agreeing that all k-content on one page makes sense! i understand why you’re separating anime but i also wouldn’t mind it all on one page since i watch anime, kpop content and kdramas. for people who watch one thing only, i can see why they’d want to be separated but since you are aiming for a community that would be down to watch anything, maybe not separating as much would be better? idk 😭 i’m fine however you wanna split it tho! back to the actual point, kdramas and kpop content all on one page makes sense, esp bc some of the idols are in kdramas you might end up watching too so kinda checks both boxes :)
