It’s team L vs team Kira in the death note verse😂 personally Light (other than lelouch from code geass) is one of the greatest MCs in all of anime. We dont often get MCs who play the anti hero and who actually have layers like this. Im team Kira of course. The multiple offense murderers and rapists can die💀 of course Light is doing way more than that but I let it slide cuz it’s fiction😂 I think this anime shows what such power can make a person do, and how we’re all victims of our mind

omg a code geass mention !! I swear that show doesn’t get enough recognition

I thought it was crazy that L used the inmate as bait and for Light to oust the man in an instant. Bro was triggered fr. I think they have similar ideologies with very different approaches so I can't really decide which team I'm on. I feel like Jax, somewhere in the middle. But this is going to be a huge battle of intellect and ego 😬 their rivalry reminds me of Sherlock Holmes and James Moriarty

Not nowadays lol, but for people who watched anime back in the day it is still probably the greatest ending in anime and lelouch is still the greatest MC✊🏽

Are you talking about the rivalry from the original sherlock holmes books or the anime? 💀

Yeah it is his pov but it takes many liberties with the characters so dont expect it to be accurate to books

It's been probably a decade since I've watched Death Note but FUCK, looking at the end of this episode, no wonder it captured so many of us like this.

I see why this show is a classic

"Do not tempt me! I dare not take [the one ring], not even to keep it safe, unused. Through me, it would wield a power too great and terrible to imagine." dude I can't stop thinking about these Gandalf quotes while watching this now xD the wisdom to know that absolute power corrupts absolutely
