This years mama was amazing. From rosé and bruno mars performing together to bigbangs reunion. Treasure and seventeen killed it as always

Mali

I don’t watch award shows since around 2017 or 2018 because I’m not interested in most groups since then but of course I watched this performance as soon as it was uploaded 😌 Lol we used to watch these shows religiously 10 years ago and now most of us don’t even know that MAMA is currently going on and I also saw a comment that MAMA seriously needs to thank BIGBANG because many of us are tuning in for the first time in 9 years 😂

Yujin

You need to check out Young posse / Gidle performance as well!

sincerely, nai.

this performance was so iconic. 😭 it feels so surreal seeing gd and the rest of big bang performing again. seeing the fancams of the idols absolutely losing their minds when each song started was so wholesome !! the kings of kpop are back fr .

Ericka

V.I.P. StayTiny checking in! I love your reactions.

layla s

you feel like this omg imagine how those of us who witnessed them last time on MAMA thinking it was never gonna happen again feel loll also Gd quoted his diss to MAMA when he went up to get his award lolll

layla s

this means that you should go on a BigBang binge lol they dont even have that much content too

it was actually pre-recorded. they didn't perform live on stage. idk if it's because its a last minute decision to invite them so they couldn't prepare or if they couldn't bring bruno's band so they just pre-recorded it instead but they did pretty cool. love their interactions when they attend for their award.

omg this feels so nostalgic!! bigbang is the first male group that i've ever stan and never have i ever imagine they will comeback again after everytging that happened so seeing them perform in MAMA especially is so surreal. MAMA this year is amazing thanks to Treasure and BIGBANG's performances (and to other groups but yk) these two omg really brought back the old MAMA days. this is really YG's year for real because from 2NE1 coming back to BIGBANG also coming back like eho would've thought they'd be active on 5th gen at the same freaking time?! so crazy to think about but as a big yg artists stan i'm really happy because i've been waiting so long for this moment!!

chelsey

between gd & kendrick i'm so overwhelmed i don't know what the hell to do with myself 😭

Tesa

I was watching the livestream last night and was so surprised when Taeyang and Daesung joined GD on stage since they weren't announced! Even tho I was by myself, at home, the energy and iconicness of this was so overwhelming, as if I was there haha (wish I was!) the discord chat I was in was also going crazy over it!

Tesa

I also love how all the idols went crazy, especially Hoshi, Gunwook, and Gyuvin who basically threw himself on the ground 😂

nana💘

nah seventeen was doing the choreo in the artist area like it was theirs like they had a blast

✮

CHILLS at their entrance for bang bang bang tbh. I genuinely believe no other idol could get a reaction like that. They are the idols of all idols. They’re kpop not even in a biased way yk… just straight up legends.

✮

Also bbs last performance at mama was back when seventeen JUST debuted. I can’t imagine the feeling for seventeen they’re such vips especially hoshi 😭

✮

Could i request a reaction to seventeens award speech for their daesang along with their performance pls ❤️

Rawna

What an amazing moment. I love bigbang I love jiyong and his craft. I’m just hoping for another world tour from either bigbang or GD bc I really want to see them in concert. GD never does anything small. He goes big or doesn’t do it at all. I love that for him and me as a fan

Alyson

I got into Kpop towards the end of Big Bang's time at YG, So I don't classify myself as a V.I.P., but I, of course understand how big this is. This performance made me pretty emotional, and I think it is because l they are, quite literally the main influencers of so many of the idols that I listen to and love today, so seeing them perform together after so many years apart, and seeing how happy it made the audience and their fans made me tear up!! I think I said the same thing about GD not having to even sing at the same time as you!! That man is so legendary and he knows it!!

isalvim

please check out ZB1's MAMA stage too when you have the time ^^ the boys did great

mssmercedes

Tears in my eyes is a great way to describe the feeling of this performance from a nostalgia perspective. I also can't even say that I've been at the level to call myself VIP but I've been in Kpop as long as they've been around and they were really the only boy group I followed at that time amongst the soloists and girl groups so it's just crazy thinking about how long it's been and how much has happened but still they're enduring. They still have so much of that original energy! You can feel it through the screen I can't even imagine what it must have felt like in that building.

Just to add the reactions of the idols to this was definitely my favorite part aside from the performance itself like everyone forgot they were there to work and we're just jamming and freaking out.

gyuvin and gunwook were having the time of their LIVES lol everyone from zerobaseone was fanboying hard

allison

zb1 members got so hyped when bang bang bang played gyuvin literally fell down and then immediately got back up to continue jumping around LMAO. their stage was so good too you should definitely watch it when you get the chance!

Home sweet home was first post on insta by TOP. one of the rap ver is TOP. the first one maybe. The part before last break was harmony by TOP voice layer on GD if you listen carefully. All of this is in the BB vault. There are thousands of songs but we know they are waiting for TOP to comeback and will be soon.

Nabihah

Hope you check out other bigbang song that you havent check out!

Shaunie Mack

The 'U' logo on the back of his jacket stands for 'Ubermensch'

It's actually ü since the word is Übermensch but I know it's hard to pronounce if you're not German

音 丹

I say bigbang is insane and legendary, just look bro how they still survive and impactful until now. They survive 2000,2010,2020 and more to come, CRAZYYY

rainicity

GD just released a behind-the-scenes video for Home Sweet Home where he also revealed that this was supposed to be a song for Bigbang, but I guess it went into his solo album since TOP left. There's a part after the first verse (the part where GD played a clip of his younger self) where there's some low-toned adlibs so my guess is that's where TOP's part was supposed to be (: This song feels so weirdly nostalgic but thank goodness it was a party song otherwise I would have been crying again 😂 Also, thank you so much for making this reaction video free on Patreon! I came for the GD/Bigbang reaction, but I see that you have some content that interests me (like RAP:PUBLIC ayo!) so I will definitely subscribe to binge some stuff!

Miranda

GD’s channel just releases 2 episodes of the MAMA behind, the rehearsal and their meeting with MAMA to decide what to perform
