Ya’ll are right about the whole justice thing.. while light and L are both shown to have their motivations for what they are doing, at the end that takes a backseat in face of the rivalry, so it becomes more and more about L vs Light. But i think that also makes sense because we have 2 characters who are in their own league of intelligence so they are the only ones who can go against each other, they both have enough ego as well that it is less about justice and more about superiority. So definitely Light cant smoothly carry out his “plans” without getting rid of L

What’s even more crazy about the FBI deaths is that Light made Ray write the names on death note paper and as we know humans who write in the death note can never go to hell or heaven and we are reminded of that rule this episode in the halfway point images. So light basically sent Ray to purgatory 🤡

YOOOOO THATS SO FUCKED. I feel like if you write in the book without having the instructions that shouldn't count. They are not consenting to purgatory whereas Light is making a semi informed decision.

Not Light making threats while in his little matching track suit 💀💀 Light knew it too! He said something along the lines of "Im positive he doesn't suspect me" mans just killed him for no reason!!

That would be a great loophole cause innocents like ray do not deserve punishment
