BECAUSE I'M KIRA!?

Let me know if y'all mind the chatty reactions lmao. I think it's very interesting when recording all this back and forth, I think this is exactly how I watch anime with my homies lol so this show certainly enables that.

I think this show is great for showing that as smart as Light is there are multiple occasions where he only gets away with what he's doing by complete luck, but still believes that it's solely down to his own intelligence. It further displays his complete arrogance and belief that he's truly above everyone else when really the cirumstances just aligned in a way that he could go unnoticed

The discussion of what's happening throughout the show is what makes this anime worth rewatching with y'all lol please keep it up

I didn't notice until this comment but damn yeah. It's like she died on the spot and her body just went through with it

Came back to add based on your guys post show discussion but I think this episode does a great job of showing how OP the death note is. yes, light had to display some real maneuvering to trick her into giving up her real name and I'll give him credit for that but think about how crazy that is no matter how smart you are or no matter how strong you are physically all it takes is for that one very basic piece of information to slip out and you're cooked.

Outside of physical attributes, a name is your most basic of information. Easy to hand out

There's actually a novel by the original author about L and Naomi's case! It's pretty good. I think it's called the LA B.B. Murder Cases or something like that - you should check it out when you finish the series

She was done the most dirty out of everyone on this show. Ray should’ve taken his girl seriously
