Yeah season one is the pre-qual and this season is where the main story begins and stuff (per the webtoon) not sure how much of it they are following though

I binged this so fast this morning! I work from home so best believe I had my tablet set up to watch this!😂 ..But yeah thought it was a great first ep! So glad that Jun-Young( The bully who smashed the dudes head on the keyboard playing games) is getting sooo many roles and being recognized! Although most recognize him for his villain roles. He's been in many Netflix dramas. 👏🏾 very proud! And little Si-Eun 😭 it's heartbreaking to see how depressed and sad he's been. Can't wait to see your reaction to the rest!

Idk why but I cried at the end because of the flashbacks. He wants to change so bad but it’s the same bs just different faces.

I binged the whole S2 today!! It was very well made, and I am overall really satisfied w/ the S2! I think I also got distracted w/ Study groups light-heartedness, because w/in the first couple minutes of ep 1 I also had the realization/ memory of "wow, this show was actually so dark and depressing". Park Jihoon, as always, is phenomenal w/ his acting roles. He does so well at showing what the character is feeling/thinking with his eyes alone. The actor who plays the main "Gangster" at the PC cafe is also amazing. He has the 'Psycho" eyes and smile down!! I noticed tons of parallels between Class 1, and this season. You went over one of them already w/ Joontae. He totally could have gone down the same road as Beomseok, but he instead speaks up and asks Sihyun for advice. I loved that,...it showed that he wants to break out of his cycle w/ is really hard to do. Sihyun is traumatized. It feels grim because that is what Sihyun's mindset is right now. His previous experience w/ classmates/ friends, and bullies has left him feeling even lower/ more depressed than at the beginning of S1. And add him being even more unhinged to that as well. I look forward to watching this again w/ you!!

Damn, excellent reintroduction to the series. It kept so much of the same vibes but the tension does feel ratcheted up. It almost felt like watching DP in some areas. Just the constant dread of something really bad about to happen. I actually haven't had any time to binge. I will watch these two episodes alongside you and then depending on how fast you're posting I might as well just watch along the rest. It's so interesting that this is the "real" story as per the webtoon I'm super curious about these characters because depending on how many seasons there will be I guess this is the cast that we might be following for a longer period of time. Or I wonder if by the end of this season something else crazy will happen and he'll be off to somewhere new to fight new battles.

It was but in the webtoon it was only a short flash back arc in the webtoon per my research, but the kdrama story changes it a bit

sieun just makes me so sad man. 😭 like you said he reminds me so much of when i’m going through my depression episodes. he really brings that to life and it’s so mind boggling to see. him going to visit suho and texting him what’s been going on and what he’s been thinking along with the flashbacks had me genuinely crying for a good 3 mins. ): it’s just so sad and unfortunate. i hope he wakes up ): i just want him to have his friend back mannn. and i also agree juntae is so sweet and adorable but i have trust issues. 😭 i’ll allow myself to believe it turns out well considering this is the official friend group in the webtoon. but him putting up his guard making a hotteok mouth piece?? i was out of my seat cheering for him. 😭

Omg I just binged your season 1 reactions yesterday and I’m so excited to see the new season with you now! I’ve been looking forward to season 2 for so long now! (Wasn’t able to watch it when it came out and I just saw that you posted ep 8 so I’ll binge my first watch with you)!!
