This episode makes me sick. I feel for Sansa. So much bad happens to her, if she crashes out, I won’t be shocked. Honestly I feel bad for Theon as well. Even though the starks treated him as family, he never truly was. He was just trying to prove himself to his father and ended up going too far. Then gets taken prisoner by Ramsey and has any remaining identity strip from him. Then Sansa gets to winterfell and he feels like he has no power to protect her even though you could tell he wants to do everything he can to make right his wrongs. The game makes more sense in this episode. She’s trying to become a faceless man, you have to become no one. The way I see it is that you have to lie soooo convincingly that you end up believing it which makes other people believe it. I love Olenna Tyrell. She’s such a badass. Side note, it pmo how breathy Cersei talks 😂.

Damn Tyrion looks so damn good with a beard and those flowy clothes I feel you :(( this sucked so much to watch. Such a contrast to her and Tyrion's wedding night. I wish she had been able to keep that part of herself for herself.

Game of Thrones has definitely been criticized over the years for its treatment of female characters in general. Whether it's the nudity scenes from the lead females or the way random extras have been treated in brothels and battle scenes. I don't think anyone's denying that these were potential tough realities for women living in those times. Especially if you come from poor circumstances but even if you are from a wealthy family and get married off but it just feels gratuitous sometimes. This choice got a lot of flack. Of course because Sansa is a beloved character but also because she's been through enough and maybe we didn't need this to add to her suffering. It's almost like - we get it GoT, for real you don't need to do all this. But other people would say that it's realistic and one of the shows strength is that it doesn't protect a character from all harm just because they're a main character so even if it's a tough watch I guess that's one way to look at it. 😢

the only point i enjoyed in this ep was lady olenna coming back, the ending was too much like i truly wish they had gone another way like if only brienne had heard about the marriage herself and went in there to stop it.. idk.. just ANYTHING ELSE. i need ramsay gone. i had to 2x speed the scene just to get it over with :(
