I think I cried a little bit when Juntae and Guntak went over to Sieun's house and dragged him outside to hang out. And I really did cry when Junmin called Sihyun @ the airport to tell Sihyun that he was not at fault for anything that happened in the past!! I am also not vibing w/ Sieun's mom. She is handling his depression in one of the worst ways possible!! She is not wrong w/ wanting what's best for her son at all, but she IS going about it the wrong way!! She doesn't even know what he needs, and it's all because she is talking AT him instead of allowing him to be heard!!

i got so emotional at the end of this one... the way sieun's mom had no clue what was eating him up inside, but his friends got it so quickly and told him exactly what he needed to hear?? i don't necessarily feel the exact same about baekjin's motivations--to me, it seems like a complicated mix of wanting his friend back and wanting to have power over him/beat him, or something? either way, i do also hope they explain that reasoning a bit more too. it would definitely help us to understand him & make sense of the plot a bit better.

Yea Sieun's mom was not understanding!! Smh ..This episode was sweet with the guys reaching out and hanging out with Sieun and letting him know they're there for him and it's not his fault 😭😭 ! Beak-Jin 😑 no words honestly because his obsession and reasoning for wanting Baku and everyone to join the union is nowhere to be found. Like is that what the Mr.Choi (big boss) is making you do? Like every district under his reign orrrrrr are you just like on some power thing. He saved you once when you were weak and now you want him working for you? Even watching this episode again with you I was still lost and found no signs for his reasonings lol

Sieun's mom was an unnecessary character bro every time she came on the screen i would just grown and be like, why are you here?

chloe 🖤

Juntae is the perfect character for this season, he is the character we needed to be by Sieun. I love this new gang Sieun has so much they each have a purpose/reason to be by him after everything that happened in S1. WHC1 was trauma and WHC2 was therapy. JUNTAE PROTECTORS RISE!

His mom really annoyed me this ep, like she doesn't even know why the first incident at his old school happened. It sucks that noone told him it wasn't his fault before.

Baekjin is Baku’s Beomseok. I think Baekjin is lonely the way Beomseok was. Just having love around isn’t enough, seems like there’s some deep rooted abandonment issues. It’s toxic but I think he’s obsessed with Baku because he feels trapped in whatever real gang nonsense he’s got going on and needs Baku there or he’ll lose it completely. If he was a real one, he’d leave Baku be but because he’s the only one he acc rates, he needs him to be stuck too. He wants them to be fucked up together. I don’t know, I’m watching along with you lol but that’s what it seems like so far. Baku is living proof that Baekjin is just a coward who can’t break out of whatever shit he’s going on. He needs to ‘win’ or everything he’s doing and everything he is is just a waste. 👁 Idk maybe he’s just evil who knows LOL ig both 😃

the fact that sieun’s mother has no clue about what really happened at sieuns old school nor does she even know what kind of person suho actually is and the friendship they created really irks my soul. and it’s all because she was never there. she only cared about her work and the one time it showed them meeting in season one for a meal she did not care at all about sieun, how he was doing and so on. cut their meal short for a work meeting and completely ignored him. i have zero sympathy for the woman and her saying she wants to be a better mother while still not caring to ask sieun questions or listen to him is insane. tomato tomato 🍅 ! this show really hits me straight in the feels because the way they went to his house to hang out with him and the phone-call in the airport really tore me apart. <//3 i’ve been crying since episode one! 😭😭

nai

a2r

I felt that and I usually do not feel emotional for those types of gestures in shows lol.

This ep broke my heart for real betw Baku feeling like he doesn’t have a choice but join the union, JunTae telling Sieun it wasn’t his fault !! Also 100% agree Jihoon deserves so much praise, he crushed this performance

I'm going to be a devil's advocate and say I feel like everyone's being way too hard on the mom. Maybe webtoon readers have some context that we're missing but it's never explained in season 1 why he feels so unloved by his parents. Clearly they are divorced and for whatever reason he was living with the dad so maybe he feels like his mom abandoned him Even though she was simply not living in the same household. It's almost like in divorce people are so used to the dad living his own life that when the mom does it it seems like this big crime. After what happened at his previous school they've switched things up and now she's his primary caregiver, has him in therapy, and I feel like she's constantly trying to bridge the gap but he's just not the kind of guy who opens up easily we've seen that with his friends. There are a lot of assumptions being made that because she doesn't know what went on with him means that she'd never asked but everything I've seen of Si-eun's character is enough to let me know that he would not have told her. He doesn't know HOW to tell her how he's feeling and I seriously highly doubt he's ever told her or anyone the full story of what happened with Su-ho. That's why there can be rumors that it was his fault. Keep in mind I don't think what she's doing is right either but the types of fights he's getting into are not schoolyard scraps. I think she's afraid that if her son keeps fighting he will end up dead or in jail.

Ugh my heart when he cried after hearing that it's not his fault. I can't handle this.

i shed a tear at the exact same time!

Honestly I'm glad I wasn't the only one who found the mom annoying like tf. Ma'am this isn't about your feelings you should be more worried about your sons' feelings and whats' going on with him. Maybe you would know if you bothered to stick around. She fr had the audacity to show up and pretend like she was there all along and when he mentions her going back to the way things were she results to guilt tripping him because he "doesn't understand her feelings" like get tf out of here. Obviously no one is saying parenthood is easy but being in your child's life is the bare minimum and you couldn't even do that.

Honestly, it seems like his mom made everything about herself. She acts like she has been there for him, but she never even asked how he feels or what he is going through. Putting him on sleeping pills or taking him to see a doctor doesn't make up for the time she lost with her son. She isn't even trying to understand Seiun, and it's audacious for her to ask him why it's so hard to understand her. I really can't deal with the mom.
