2026-09-16 07:00 Now that we reached this ep I'm here to say i don't hate Bum's character or should i say dislike him (hate is a strong word lol). of course, we didn't have a reason to in the beginning but even after all the unfortunate craziness, i don't dislike him. now this does not mean im saying he did no wrong/ how he chose to deal with his emotions was right because it i 100% was not. He made bad choices. his character is such a realistic character, which i love. crazy people still think Bum did all that over the no ig follow when it was so much more. 90% of it being actions su-ho did do (which were all unintentional on Su-ho's side of course, but still happened) that played as triggers from bum being bullied/abused. like the boy was legit adopted just for fake political antics like that is fucked up to chose to adopt/care for a child when its not even real. plus bum dealing with feeling left out/replaced/treated differently than suho treated si (which he was, let's be real its been years lol) and bum's problem was truly only with su never with si.

2026-09-16 07:00 i loved that they had those scenes of si and Bum. si was able to get to have that last “convo” he never got to have with bum, to say goodbye/finally just let go. while also showing si still dealing with his guilt/trauma. we see si still cares for Bum/can see his side even after everything. i even got a bit of si having guilt for maybe not being able to help/save bum from his own rock bottom. And then we see bum still struggling with being left alone/dealing with his trauma/consequences/just letting go in general as well. “are they more important than me” him not wanting to let go of Si-eun's arm, and just him still being stuck in the ring. and may i add, kyung (bum's actor) is great as well. i still don't see people giving him his props as the actor he is in this series.

And also with Seongjae, if u really look at it, he was never fully into/agreed with bothering Baku and them. like he kinda always questioned jin like, do we really need to bother him or just eungjang in general, or would say stuff like im tired of this, but jin clearly isn't, why are you so obsessed with them etc. so him lowkey helping us out this episode honestly wasn't surprising for me when i watched.

i just finished this today and i am not okay. i miss the series already. 😭 - okay weirdly enough watching this episode my quality also kept randomly decreasing? i dunno what netflix got going on but they need to fix it. still so insane to me that there is no quality button/setting??? - you saying og was just a nuisance to baekjin had me dying like he fr is. 😭 baekjin just want that man out his face so he can run his business. also baekjin not flinching at all when he threw wtv at him? like that was badass. - i was getting so anxious seeing sieun lay in that hospital bed. immediate flashbacks to suho in my head and i was not having it.

nai

speaking of romance at the end ??? did anyone else see that the director and jihoon both said suho was sieun’s first love? like i KNEW i wasn’t crazy bro. 😭😭 and which brings me back to this .. did anybody catch him saying “ i have to get back to my friends & suho”. like ): my shaylas.

after rewatching season one i have to say the second time around i saw him completely different. at the end i did still dislike every single choice he made lol. but i didn’t despise him and i understand 100% why sieun doesn’t hold any ill will towards him or doesn’t hate him himself. bumseok was going through so much trauma, being scared of being deserted because his own family didn’t want him, he was adopted just for political advantages, being abused by not only his dad but being hit by bullies day in and day out. like that would fuck up your mental. and yes i do wish he saw what we did, listened when the boys were telling him they were his friends and really paid attention to them actively going out of their way to help him. he just wasn’t in the headspace to make sense out of anything. ): i don’t like him but i also don’t dislike him. i understand him and wish things turned out so differently.

my take away from this episode is that baku's head is made of concrete lmao??? also, beomseok infuriated me in s1. but after finishing this season, my opinion overall is pretty simple... because of some of their fucked up decisions, it's easy to forget that these are literally kids in high school. caught up in shit, abused, bullied, misguided. & i feel bad for every one of them in one way or another.

I LOVE this episode! I agree with wanting more on-screen time to show how they became so close as friends. I really think that Netflix should have made this AT LEAST a 12-episode season. I started reading the webtoon, and like any book-to-movie adaptation, so much is missing!! I always liked Seongjae, the little psycho. But it made me so happy when he helped Juntae!! I think it added to his character that he is actually not much of a follower and will do what he wants. I was so emotional in the latter half of this episode!!! From Baku crying in front of his dad, to Baku and Sihyun's mom at his hospital bed. SIHYUN'S CONFRONTATION WITH BEOMSUK IN HIS HEAD!!!! I could write a whole essay on Beomsuk and the complicated character he his!! I think he, as a character, is such a good representation of Sihyun's guilt and past trauma.

a2r

I didn't peep that!! I did not know of that note from the director danggg

a2r

It made me feel like Beomseok died yo

nai

right?? it gagged me. 😭 like i knew it but to have the director and cast confirm it? and apparently it’s mutual. like !! they’re genuinely progressing in sk. i’m so happy bro. 😭

Having Beom-seok appear as the manifestation of his own doubts and guilt was a fantastic choice. Also that actor is great so anyway to keep him in the show I'm down for (p.s I shouldn't be surprised cuz everybody in this show is a damn grown man but I googled him and he is 29 years old. Talk about a baby face) Prior to this episode I was thinking that although I do enjoy the season a lot so far I don't have as many drastic emotional swings over it compared to season 1. This episode did a good job creating the feels though. These new friendships do seem easier than the ones built in season 1 and I like the way Si-Eun was able to recognize that Su-ho taught him that friendship and being light-hearted are good things. Even though he tried to fight it I think subconsciously that's why he opened up to this group so much more quickly, he really needed human connection.

a2r

HE'S 29?! WOW! He actually did pass as high schooler. Good call on Suho's teachings making Sieun more susceptible to others, that perspective handles that for me. I wish I could have seen more of the bond developing but all has been good!

chelsey

i was surprised that the actor for baekjin is 34 lol

a2r

wow good for them i need to invest in some face masks

Montana 🎀

when i see bum-seok´s face i just get so angry bro like i need to tell myself he really started everything in s1 for a instagram follower from suho

Montana 🎀

the ending scene killed me, first thing he thought of when he woke up was i need to see if suho is okay

rachelllll

just over here being sad that as soon as sieun woke up he immediately thought of suho, but Baku lowkey holding him down so he wouldn’t hurt himself and get stressed out more. I was hoping they would check on suho for him, glad they did
