From what i remember sii is like ma'am/sir for us (manners). ik they usually do it for strangers or even if they know the person but they're not particularly close. it can be used for authority as well. And yes, we all were pronouncing Renjun's name wrong for years, its pronounced as if the r is an l (lun-jin/jun)

his koreanized name is pronounced with an l-sound, but his chinese name is an r-sound (which is why it's spelled that way). so i really think it's correct either way.

I think this is what makes Chinese names hard to pronounce correctly, they make all sorts of versions to fit other languages and make it "easier" but I wish they'd just pronounce it how you're supposed to pronounce it and we'd all just get used to it.

Haechan is definitely Like That™ lmaooo. In fact, he is so Like That™ that a few members have said "you're gonna get beat up one day" Renjun is pronounced more like LonJwin I think and Chenle is pronounced more like Chonlo. These might just be the Korean pronunciations though 😭😭 It's been a few months since I watched variety content and goddamn, I forgot how much Dream likes to speak at the same time lmao, I think the audio guy has complained about it before

I absolutely love this series! I don't quite remember when they'll be eating, but probably throughout all the next episodes since they have to make lunch, dinner, and breakfast haha Also, you ended up pronouncing Chenle's name perfectly! Renjun is more like Run-june tbh for us English speakers. And when it comes to albums, it's tough! I feel like 127 has some great beginner albums, like Limitless, but to me, Dream has a better overall discography. Either way, excited for you to dive in! :D

okay I’ve returned. I had to watch the ep on my own 1st then rewatch with you skkdksks I always say I love haechan but shit like this makes me remember exactly why 😭 he’s hilarious goodbyeeee like he’s so quick and witty and really makes the variety content for me like I actually laughed out loud the whole first ep ESP for the bed room assignments he was giving 😂 the bag thing was funny though bc the translation was showing “dips” but I’m pretty sure he meant “dibs” so then people ended up calling dibs on someone’s wallet from the bag lololol glad you’ve started on nct content for the deep dive though :)
