(I know this is long sorry 😣) Let me just start by saying: THE LIGHTING FOR S8 IS HORRIBLY DARK. ESPECIALLY IN THE BATTLE SCENES FOREWARNING The beginning reminds me of Arya in s1 when Robert and Cersei came to winterfell and she was running everywhere to see them come in All of the stark kids are home (Jon is a stark to me 😭😭). Sansa is so tall and imposing. Bran said we have bigger things to do than introductions 😂. Lyanna clocked clocked Jon. Ngl, I don’t like Dany this season. I understand her actions going forward but hate how they wrote her in this last season. I love Sansa this season. She’s so headstrong and mature when it comes to the north. She’s not bullshitting anymore. Sansa > Dany, I said what I said. The Golden Company are a company of sell-swords that Cersei bought to fight for her since she didn’t have the numbers to fight the Dothraki and unsullied. She used the money she got after killing off the Tyrells.

Cersei looked repulsed when he left. Euron looks like he stiiiiiinks lol Idk, telling Jon this bombshell before the big fight might not be the best idea… I’m surprised that you weren’t more surprised that Tormund and the brotherhood survived the wall coming down at East Watch by the Sea. They are not at the wall. After they survived the wall they started heading back to winterfell, went to the Umbers home and met Edd there. I really hope you watch House of The Dragon because the dragon scenes are so good 😫😫😫 even if it’s not right after GoT ends, but I hope someday

I agree so hard about sansa. Somehow i spent 7 seasons being frustrated out of my mind by her and in the 8th one she is the only voice of reason i stand by🤡

Jon bending the knee to Dany without even consulting sansa or any of his bannermen was so ridiculous AND unnecessary. Dany was already willing to fight with them in the north at that point. He didnt need to fold, not at that point. It was clearly not something he did just to protect the north. I get that he doesnt care about titles etc but at some point he has to because like it or not that’s how things work. He needs to realize that there are people who are there giving their lives only because they trusted HIM. I’d say sansa’s response was too kind lol

Euron looks like he thinks he can please a woman but he cant

The way Jon kisses and hugs his brothers and sisters is so fucking dad-like....so Ned-like 😭😭 I'm crying. Bran said: 🎶 I'm like a birdddd 🎶 Man I went on a rollercoaster made for kids and I had a bad panic attack afterwards. I couldn't stop shaking. Me on a dragon? Absolutely not

We're really in the era where mydetailed memory of events gets fuzzy. Despite this being the season closest to the present I've watched at least up to season 5 - 3 or more times end to end while 7-8 I'm pretty sure I've only seen once. Again it's cool to look at it as though I'm watching it the first time and see what things I raise an eyebrow at and what things I think people were making a big deal about that aren't that bad. I wonder if it was weird for Emelia and Kitt to act this out. Even though their scenes wouldn't have crossed until now they literally been working together for 7 years, doing press and stuff and all of a sudden their characters are doing romantic scenes. Of course acting is acting but it would have taken me a while to get used to it. The stag in the intro is for the baratheons by the way. I know there are no longer relevant at all but the crest was around the four major powers at the beginning of the show: The, targaryens, the Starks, the Lannisters and the baratheons. I don't know why it tickled me so much this time but if you've ever been the only two minorities in a room full of white people that look between gray worm and missandei made me cackle. I know they weren't the only ones and it wasn't about that but the fact that they're not northerners overall but I felt the vibe. Outside of the overall pacing which will talk about in later episodes I'm sure people definitely criticize the travel realisticness kind of starting last season but especially in this one. These places are FAR away from each other and a journey that is season 1 they would have said took months and at least span across a couple of episodes people reaching in like 5 minutes of showtime it's crazy. That was a pretty sick episode ending ngl. "I'm waiting here for a friend" indeed.
