I have also started taking notes on who stand out to me😂 i feel like I already have a solid group with the trainees I like so far (before watching this episode) and I haven't even seen all the contestants!! (After/while I am watching the episode): Junseo should have done a different song, I love him, but sweet venom did him no favors to show how talented he is!! There are some songs that just need to stick being performed in groups of people, and not attempted as a solo. Im expecting this group to be absolutely INSANE with the rapping!! There are already a lot of trainees that have rapped that sound really good!! I totally agree with you on Yumeki!! Train him to rap!! Totally possible. In my opinion more possible than training him in singing!! But at the same time (I dont mean this in a mean way at all) I understand that he wants to be an idol, but he is already successful enough to be a COACH on these survival shows!! He is arguably the most successful contestant on the show, I just have a hard time understanding what he is doing!!Especially when he knows he is only good at dancing!! (I understand that he wants to be an idol, but in my opinion that still isnt enough reason to participate as a contestant, GIVEN he knows his weaknesses!!). Im happy for Yumeki though!! He improved his vocals for the evaluation!! But i do agree with you that he is not a 3 star. But he 100% has the potential to be the underdog of the show. I ALWAYS wonder as a person who doesn't dance if its normal to expect them to automatically know the dance perfectly after 1 practice!! Or if thats just a survival show expectation!! Because I know if it was me I would need to just watch the dance first, more than a few times, and then practice it with the video or a coach, again more than just 1 or 2 times!! My opinion on Chuei Li Yu, is that, unfortunately if he cannot even ask for help from the mentors, or at the bare minimum the people around him, then this career is not for him. There are tons of introverted idols, but they are still able to speak for themselves when needed. Regarding the song being at such a high key, I dont understand how they expect every participant to hit the notes, not everyone can sing in that range. But im also not a singer, so I may be talking complete nonsense😂😂

Starting here with my comments(I caught up lol) Yes these two/four eps should be the last ones of the original program, the fifth episode or the actual third episode is the final combined series Bro I kinda wish I had blind voted lol but I be getting on twitter and being spoiled left and right lol and I’m kinda biased to who I know and seeing those extra videos mnet cut man there’s some talents, it’ll be cool to see who you pick though Kany is so funny man lol her being friends with key makes so much sense Junseo is great man, this one didn’t really show all he’s got but I’m a bit biased, Junseo won another show called under ninteen that made 1the9 that had seunghwan from the first boys planet and then Wei is the group that has yohan from x1 and seokhwa from yg treasure box

Bro the first time I saw Leo I thought he looked like yeonjun or like they could be siblings lol World of dance is a world renowned dance competition that brings together various dance groups and battles, it’s like all the big dance videos you see on YouTube is probably a part of it, they did make a tv version once with j lo and ne-yo lol Mentioned in the last video, Kany does all the choreo for viviz, a lot for taemin and shinee and various others now that she’s at BPM

Whib is a lesser known group or I guess nugu as they say even though they’ve been out for 3 years, (research says) kpop hip hop style, their last comeback was right before this show like 3 months ago https://youtu.be/2RwFzNL66Hs?si=xVCsgZ_39jZTa8Lj looks like it didn’t get many views but they sound good to me DKB man was rooting for them on peak time and now rooting for them here, especially harry june, here’s a pro dancer that learned to sing lol I was already supporting before but dkb harry and heechan rose up in my list after this ep(they both got 3 stars)

lol I just realised I’m still on the first part of this episode ( alright will keep the rest on this) Yumeki is just so good at dance man I totally agree he can learn to rap and learn to sing, he did decent here in some parts here and the fact that he’s willing to learn and keep pushing himself makes it for me, but yes it’s kpop we need vocalist but we don’t need everyone to be main vocalists, these shows forget that when it comes to doing positions man, yumeki could live his idol dreams be the main dancer and lend his voice in other ways I gotta get off twitter lol but I see yumeki get the most hate just because he’s a pro dancer trying to see if he can be an idol, like how many pros have we seen become idols now Leo and sangwon just having a good ass time in the all star dorm lmao and then Ryan and sanghyun bringing everyone over when they said only 3 had me dying The way yumeki dances I can see it as both a good and a bad thing, like we love to see when idols add their own flairs to things but it can also be too much sometimes when you need to be doing it together as a group and especially if you are singing or rapping I can see him having to learn to tone it down Lmaooooo the pissing comment took me right lmao I’m dying I think sho ment for good but him trying to correct yumeki or changing things was a little off but yumeki took it gracefully, it was just a little much, like yumeki may just be a dancer at the moment and not a idol trainee like sho but yumeki has taught and created choreo so I would trust him more It’s funny everyone ended up wanting to learn from yumeki, but not only that everyone helped each other, helping yumeki with his vocals and the other way around Hyeop and dunghun were not shown in the auditions, they are from a group called drippin, they got all stars I think masato kept the confidence through out and didn’t stray, like when messed up parts it wasn’t like the others that messed up then you can see the dance weaken I think kangmin could’ve taken the killing part/center but we already know gunwoo got it from the video lol im staying neutral on the gunwoo agenda but overall he was good

now that i think about it, i'm a little surprised that mnet accepted having leo on this show. my personal opinion of him is undecided atp, but i know a lot of people aren't fond of him... his controversy was the start of the end for trainee a iirc, so i'm just surprised mnet is taking the risk. since having him in this final group would be a polarizing thing for sure. speaking of scandals, is the geonwoo guy removed or not? *oh shit he's center? this is so messy lol

I think with singer they just mean like an umbrella term for vocalist and rapper, either way, the sound is a tad but more important since you're making music. but I do feel that not always they follow their own criteria. I think the first season as well, some were singing really well and just lacked a bit in dancing and it was seen as really bad. and then good dancers just couldn't control breathing well and that wasn't seen as such a bad thing...

I'm also so torn on these 14/15 year old kids. Like Na Yunseo, he is so good and so talented with a great personality. but I also don't want such a young kid in a group. like, the kid needs to be a kid. so I want to support these talented 2010 babies (and 2009/2008), but a part of me doesn't want them to make the group. so I vote, hoping they can grow and learn and get al this experience and that they then get eliminated at the last moment so they have a few more years before really becoming an idol

Man I wanted to see how they chose the dance trio and the rap trio I’m assuming they looked at the view count or somehow got scores for their individual videos on YouTube not the whole group video Yes it was the same as last season and other shows like produce, they release it first, we don’t know the exact stars or values but we can assume, in Bp1 they did the same and the ones that got the most views got to choose their team for the song mission, no early elims like this season, it probably just feels weird because you don’t remember they had done the same thing last time or close If you catch up you can start voting for individual ranks now lol excluding the eliminated ones from the videos I wonder if he noticed but Kim donghyun B grabbed Kim donghyun A s bag by accident lol They deff said junhyuk lol The only thing if you watch the signal song video is you don’t know who’s eliminated and who got what rank technically, all eliminated trainees were also in the signal song video/individual videos Again you already knew the c center/killing part by watch the signal song video lol Gotta make an account but I think it’s just email, all free lol One ep, one ep for sure

I feel the same way!! I want these kids to have a good learning experience, and I think a lot of them are already so talented, but I don't know if I want them in a final lineup. But then I think about how I felt when I was watching I-land and had those feelings about Niki, and now I feel the complete opposite of how I did then, and I love that he is in the group, even though he was really young at the time.

I half agree I think they have a lot to grow as youngins but at the same time they sacrificed everything to be here and they want it just as bad as any adult, like look at yujin zb1 he thriving now, like in the case of yunseo this is his second time trying, he was on the show loud that made tnx and kickflip, like damn he’s got a whole childhood and etc to go but man I can’t help but want to support that, even the young one that won and didn’t debut with tnx on loud (p nation sent trainees here and he didn’t go) because people didn’t think he should because of his age is now older and not doing anything except posting dance videos Opp sorry that was long

it's just such a tricky situation. especially if they are super talented and this might be their only chance. but they're mentally also still developing and you just don't know how an idol life will affect them. and I know some 15 or 16 year olds have a very mature point of view, so they might handle it better. and with social media nowadays it just adds a whole other layer of things these kids have to deal with. I just hope they get the right help and support and that they are also protected a bit from everything going on around them. and I guess 'luckily' the boys don't get as much sexualized like the girls do, because that's another can of worms I do not want to think about (though yujin being called 'sexy' when he was 16 felt really... icky) mine also got long ><

Yeah I kind of feel the same way if I was judging solely on Jun Seo's audition. It was alright. The two star is fair but seeing him in other things I obviously know how much better he can do so it's hard to take that out of my voting and just judge what appeared in the episode.

Yoonmin is also one where he maintained all star for his signal song test so I’m not sure why Mnet is continuing to give him zero screen time He’s a former JYP trainee and is currently under giriboy’s company. I’m assuming the reason Mnet is choosing to ignore him is because he doesn’t exactly fit traditional k beauty standards and he’s a bit on the older side (born in 2000) so Mnet isn’t really pushing him for their lineup even though he’s an insane all rounder

I haven’t watched C episode 2 yet, but I got spoiled for eliminations on TikTok already, so I decided to vote anyway. My current top 8 are Chen Bowen, Jiang Fan, Park Dong gyu, Sun heng yu, yeom yechan, Yoonmin, Lee Leo, Nian Bo heng But I alternate Jiang fan with Harry June (because both of them I like mostly for their dancing) I’m choosing not to vote for Sangwon rn because his fan base is already huge and some of the other boys I’m voting for obviously need the support more. As much as I love Sangwon and would be happy if he debuted, he honestly isn’t in my personal top 4 so I’d rather vote for other boys I care about rn and try to get them past the next few eliminations since Sangwon is obviously very safe in that regard

*Episode aside, logging in for this week's vote was very rough for me. In the first episodes for C&K I got to feel so good because I could pick eight people from each planet. I was so shook when I saw they were mixed and you now have to pick eight overall. Too early for this I can't choose 😭 *I'm very upset that they cut Yoon Min and Seo Won's auditions (notice how they didn't fail to use his reaction clips for viral moments though). They were great and this is the type of stuff that makes it hard for people to climb the ranks because people really set their lists in these first few episodes and unless you have an amazing storyline through the rest of the show climbing all the way into that top eight is so hard. I know they can't show them all in full but they waste long segments on other stuff where they could fit more in. *I typically don't do this but there's a reactor on YouTube who will watch all the full cut performances and I feel like I need to do it for this round. There were so many that I felt were edited weird and I can't tell if they were good or not and I want to consider them in my votes as opposed to locking in with whoever I've already been voting for. *This room thing just feels like psychological torture. Like you're already a one-star stressed you could get eliminated. Just give them a decent living situation so that they can just focus on practicing and getting better. But noooo mnet is not interested in that. *Choon Bae is now my one pick and I will dedicate my life to making sure he debuts 🐶 *Sang Won's storyline so far makes me reminiscent a little bit of Yujin's. He's displayed good talent and I think the Masters will be really hard on him. Confidence is kind of going to be his make or break. Sung Hanbin my pookie 🥰. At this rate they might as well try to put one ZB1 member in every episode to keep me on the hook. All right I'm about halfway in and have to take a break to live life but I'll be back with another long comment.

The signal song performance with the killing parts and individual fan cams is always revealed usually like a month ahead of the show so it's not really a spoiler when they say it here. They release it early because its their first opportunity to build up hype for the show and it usually goes viral so people can start to build pre-show biases etc. The signal song is never shown during the actual show because it's already come out and people have watched it so you're just seeing the process of how all of that came to be. Voting is free you just have to download the app and make a login. Thankfully after the next C episode we are officially in merged territory. I have a pretty good tolerance for long shows but even I will be greatful to just have to keep up with once a week especially since I'm watching it with you and then skimming it with other people. You have no idea how many hours I've spent on this damn show in the last two weeks.

I’m soo late to this vid, but I’ve been saying that Leo looks like Yeonjun 😭😭 likeee I SEE IT Also to Anwser your question about how a dance teacher can spot certain things, personally when I was dance captain on my team, idk how but it was soo easy to be able to lock in on a certain person while also keeping an eye out on the whole group. Idk if it’s bc you knew the dance inside out , I was just able to pin point if someone was doing something weird with just over seeing them, also it makes it soooo much easier when you break the teams down to ppl of 7-15 bc it’s soo easy to just spot the odd one out. Also typically you have 1 or 2 assistants and they usually also let you know if someone is doing something off

I wholeheartedly agree about the rooms! Like, this whole situation is stressful enough and now they can’t even have basic needs and their stuff? It literally distracts them from solely focusing on practicing. This type of stuff is why I don’t like watching reality shows except sometimes, like k-pop survival shows. It’s because these shows have to exaggerate for no reason and constantly create unnecessary drama at the expense of people’s mental health
