The main character (Jihoon) of WHC was also in Wanna One btw and the Ha your thinking about is Ha Sungwoon.

One thing i've learned about MNET is they can't rig the fans votes anymore, or else they'll get into legal trouble, but trust, they'll rig every other aspect that won't get them in legal trouble.

Im not gokng to finish this episode tonight. I'll finish tomorrow. Only 3 of the people ive voted for are in the current top rankings. In my opinion my ranking is the correct one, and everyone else is voting crazy😂😂. I also remember Dongyu having an amazing voice, but if I remember correctly the judges asked him to sing solo AFTER he rapped in his team performance. I hate watching these guys pick parts it makes me have, not embarrassment, but like frustrating with their choices, and indecisiveness or decisiveness. The one group where the leader picked all the roles himself with no discussion is going to be DRAMA. It made it so much worse that he picked himself for the ending fairy. I was upset for He Xin Long. He voiced his opinions and wishes and got overlooked every time. Hopefully in the future something works out for him. I just added Sun Heng Yu and Zhou An Xin to my list of trainees that I like this episode. My list is long enough that I have to pick and choose who to vote for, but on the bright side, there is a bigger chance that the trainees I like the most will end up in the final lineup!! I love the japanese/Korean bakeries. We have on called 85° Celcius that is amazing!!

I had so many thoughts when I first watched this episode the formatting of the show is so dumb with K and C being separated, to then bring them together and have them compete together while K and C don't know anything about the skills and mentality of each other. Like what are their specialties, how (fast) do they learn? also ranking during this challenge makes no sense, but they honestly couldn't have made it make sense due to time. it's not realistic to have the current ranking on them, because then they only would have had 1 week for everything and I do want these boys to have some rest. their ranking during this episode is partly based on views/likes on the fancams back in June or something (which they could have explained better to the viewer), so we barely knew most people, and Chinese can't easily access youtube. so C was at a major disadvantage. and now apparently stars don't represent skills, but popularity, which at least means there are skilled people in 1 and 2 stars, so they have some chances against the all stars. btw it's not 10.000 points, it's 100.000, and that then x 2 or x 3. 'man' is 10.000 and then 10man is 100.000 (no idea why the translation is so wrong on that one) also the Xue Su Ren and Li Zi Hao moment was so funny the 1st TWS team is kind of my dream team. it has 4 of 8 members I vote for daily (Na Yun Seo, He Xin Long, Chen Bo Wen, Kim Tae Jo) and 2 I'm rooting for, but (currently) don't vote for (Nian Bo Heng and Jung Hyun Jun). the leader picking of that team though... I feel you can't get more experienced than Boy Story, but we of course don't see the complete discussion of it. I also think it's so funny how He Xin Long is like 'I don't know if the camera can catch me if I only have 4 second', yet he is currently by far the one with the most views on his fancam (245K at the moment, second highest of his group is 51K). and He Xin Long and Na Yun Seo have now my top 2 spots, because their interactions were just so cute and caring

i added xinlong & junmin to my vote. minjae & zhang jiahao caught my eye in these performances too. i decided to stop voting for sangwon & anxin for now, they don't need my votes lol. but kangmin is probably gonna stay my #1 (yes i'm biased shut up) & i'm scared he's gonna fall out of top 8 😭

My Top 8: - He Xin Long - Xue Su Ren : Caught my eye during the signal song dance break & fell in love with him fully last ep. I think he might be my no.1 pick tbh. - Sun Heng Yu - Hsu Ching Yu - Kim Junseo - Lee Leo - Lee Sangwon - Na Yunseo: I watched this kid on LOUD & to see him here is surreal. his talent & drive is amazing & whatever you have to say about minors debuting, i also don't think it's right for random people on the internet to have a play at crushing his dreams over something that we will never fix in a day, especially when he's been training longer than most of the contestants & is too talented to have him be lost to the trainee system. GIVE HIM A CHANCE Now this ep. He Xin Long's team choosing 'Plot Twist' was such a clever choice; it is more impactful for deep voiced, 'masculine' idols like He Xin Long & Nian Bo Heng to pull of a cute concept than it is for softer idols like Na Yunseo & Jung Hyunjun to pull of an intense one. So if they had gone for S-Class they 100% would've lost :/ How Minjae went about choosing parts for his team was contraversial but he still did it based of what he could see in his team's skills & not just blindly choosing. & let's be honest he was the most deserving of the killing part (still probably should've at least let other's have a go at auditioning for the sake of their morality but oh well). & if he really was the 'dictator' style leader people are trying to portray then he would've changed things last minute for the sake of him winning, but he trusted his team mates which is all you can really ask for. I'm excited for the next ep, especially to see how they're gonna pull of that TVXQ song. I saw them at SMTown London in June & they performed 'Rising Sun' which was insane, so my expectations are high lol.

Other Wannaone members you would at least have come across: * Bae Jin Young - formerly of CIX * Hwang Min-Hyun - originally from Nu est And he was the main host during boys planet season 1 Two former members are also now in AB6IX that I can't remember if you checked them out before.

*The rankings at the beginning of this episode are just interim rankings. I was initially going to come in and do a whole breakdown (rant) of how I feel about it but I'll save it. The first ranking never makes much sense because as of the timing of these votes people have only seen the first episode or so usually so things tend to swing wildly after this. Posting these now should light a fire under star creators though if your fave isn't up there. * Damn it did not take long for the signal song to infiltrate your mind *Seo Won is just the best boy, truly a bright personality *Re:the cat I have a non-picky eater but he will sometimes refuse food if I feed him the exact brand/type too often. IDK if you've tried rotating the dry food brand but even if you have cats are weird. *I agree people are a little bit more chill about the part distribution this year. It might be because they realize that getting the 10,000 to 30,000 point benefit is more important than your individual screen time in terms of not getting eliminated so as long as they don't feel like the they can do it significantly better than the person who got the longer part they're letting it go. I would definitely go for both though if I was in a lower ranking. *They did do this same setup last season. Groups going against each other practice in the same room and this first round is in front of a live voting audience is where the groups performed backdoor, love me right, kill this love etc but it was K group vs G group on the same song I'm also that person who genuinely doesn't understand how you can't follow the melody and energy of a song after a couple times but I realize that it really is not a universal skill from watching shows like this or even hearing people hum a song in real life I'm like... Are we listening to the same thing??? maybe it's a brain thing like the way you process music IDK. I also feel like if you grew up in a household with music It's kind of ingrained from young and so you don't even realize that you learned it.

For the S-class performances: All Star Team winning I agree with overall but The one star team had some great moments. Min Jae Kai Wen, Hyunseo stood out. On The all Stars Zhang Ji Hao really brought it for me especially with relatively few lines. His ranking has been good but I feel like from a screen time perspective ever since they did their audition they haven't shown him as much and I get it An Xin got the C killing part so that storyline takes up some time but he said "I am not to be forgotten". He does remind me of Rui from season 1/Xlov a lot in his flair. Seo Won's first vocal part felt too low for him but once he got to the high notes that's a lot more comfortable. Very stable performance I don't know if this one will help him to stand out though just amongst some of the people on his team but between his talent and his leadership/personality I will be holding out hope for him. Jun Min and Minjae in those killing parts were a great matchup. They're both debuted idols and it feels like it Dong gyu is exactly who you are thinking of he rapped in the first episode in his group performance but then the mentors asked him to sing after. He's really an all-arounder He's high up there for me. I had to go look up the Korean title of plot twist cause when they say it it's sooo long 🤣 The literal Korean to English translation is "The first meeting didn't go as planned". Very txt coded title lol This group killed it. I didn't realize until they mentioned that they had four K and four and C group members something that I would love to seeb more. I'm glad they did this song to show off versatility since most of them have already shown they can handle a concept like S-class. Xin Long, Bowen and Nian are already people I'm voting for but I think everyone did great in this group. Especially the young ones of course lol When it comes to the minors I understand why it's a controversial topic but I feel like SOME people take survival shows as an opportunity to virtue signal about the topic only as it relates to k-pop. I say that because I don't see almost anyone applying the same rationale to minors pursuing pretty much any other profession that requires you to start from a young age: being a professional dancer, professional athlete of any kind, pursuing classical music, even pursuing advanced academics. People get praised in those areas even though the same potential dangers apply. I don't have the answers. I can certainly see how it would have been better for people like boy story to NOT debut at the ages of 9-12. But does that mean that you should not train or pursue debuting at the age of 15-17? And this is a real question. We've only seen 1.5 matchups so far and I'm already irritated because there's not enough voting slots! 😭 Although we still have 80 contestants I feel like the large number of eliminations we've had has a accomplished one thing I was hoping for which is I feel like the quality of the performances overall for mission one is going to be higher than what we saw in season one. In season one there were a couple of standout matchups but it felt like there were a lot of filler trainees/performances (I hate to say it like that but they were a lot of people who just weren't ready to be there) whereas here 80 is still a lot of people but I'm not seeing entire groups that have no chance. I'm anticipating the next episode to be really strong as well.

Comments: Although they said they didn’t know each other from the k and c side quite a few actually know each other from companies and other shows lol you can quickly see some interacting together The ranks they had on where through there individual videos on YouTube etc Last season the stars no longer mattered after the battles they just went by rank, but idk if they maybe continue it this season after the elimination episode hmm Yumeki with 2mil views, j fans so strong lol Jia Hao performed with anxin they had the white flows shirts So votes should now only matter for rank, I didn’t catch that the first time, so these current view ranks are fine Yusen was apart of the rap team with donghyun B that did the justthis song I think heechan would’ve been a good leader because he’s debuted in dkb but at the same time im partial to suren because of seeing him in a past show lol but he does speak both Chinese and Korean so it works well with the ones don’t speak one or the other Donggyu in fact did both lol he rapped for his audition then sang for the extra part It’s actually funny because yumeki actually choreographed part of the aespa mama stage lol I think the good thing about Leo is he thinks about the team way more then himself, it’s endearing but at the same time brodys gotta put himself out there at some point Bro I wish we had one of them bakeries on this side of the state, if probably overload on that bread lol Yes first mission was live audience as well last season and other mnet shows lol Funny you say rap public because Jay park was the mc for that with Leo and a mc for a survival show universe league that had a contest there that’s on this show jiang fan lol I think for what the main vocal could do for being a trainee that has no company and no training it’s good, like he doesn’t have the pronunciation down but if he carry the notes and rhythm he’d kill it or at least get there I commend minjae for not giving up on him too like with the claps and everything, good leadership even though it makes look like he’s doing everything

Bro the fact that kangmin went full out even with an injured arm, damn he knows how to perform and again JUNMIN!! JUNMIN really shot up in my list after this performance, I have to go back and look but like I don’t think he’s dropped since the beginning, after this his rank might shoot up Kangmin made his arm brace sleeve look like his jacket lol so it looked like he was fine lol

Alyson

Okay, I finally finished this episode!! I added quite a few names to my list of trainees to keep an eye out for, but I also made sure to separate the ones that I want in the final Lineup... I have for sure 4 people that I want in the final group!! I still feel for He Xin Long, but I'm glad that he found a little friend to help boost his confidence!

nai

goodness, i loved this episode so much. i forgot how much i love love loveeeee getting to know each contestant, seeing how practice/rehearsals go and then seeing them on stage. i just can’t help but to root for everyone. 🥹 like the performances either good or bad are such a highlight. your crash out with inhu had me dyinggg. like i have insane social anxiety and even i would put my best foot forward and actively try to get parts? especially when like he said he “can’t” rap and the last vocal part had less rapping. i get being anxious but it’s like you’re on the show to fight for your dream?? there is no time to waste or back seating here. though, yes i’m glad he was able to find his footing and he had good teammates who wanted him to succeed. i was screaming like bro just tryyyyy!!! my overall one pick is definitely sangwon. the way i am desperately rooting for him to debut. i wasn’t even deep into trainee a but leo and him definitely won my heart. like they have to debut together. 😭 i love seeing how much they rely on eachother and how they genuinely are like family atp. lastly, i just find it funny and kinda interesting to notice that whenever the c trainees are getting scolded or checked they always talk back to refute/defend themselves. the shock you see flash by the korean trainees faces and the mentors plus the immediate silence that follows always makes me laugh. it shows the cultural differences 100%. reminds me when dong hai told that one trainee to stop talking.

nai

my current top 8 trainees rn : sangwon, leo, nian, an xin, junmin, junseo, woojin (give my boy back his screentime !!), dong gyu. i also really like yumeki! been a fan of him since i watched smf! and i like kai wen, jia hao and ching yu. i also adore seeing how much the trainees bond, take care of each other and genuinely just want the best for one another. other than the performances/practices that’s one of my favorite thing abt boys planet for these last two seasons. also yes to clear up your confusion, dong gyu did sing solo on his audition !! but he also rapped in the actual team performance. so he can do both effortlessly it seems lol. which is a major standout point for me.

nai

loved minjae for s-class wish he and kai wen had a more solid team bcs they did great and so did a few others but the overall balance was fcked bcs of hanwen having the main vocal position. all star s-class devoured !! junmin !! wow he won me over this episode and he is definitely now in my votes. always loved kangmin (he danced so well with a broken arm helloo???), jia hao, and dong gyu !! plot twist all star team ate down !!! i love every second of that performance. everybody stood out in their own ways, there was no mistakes, the energy was at 10 the entire time and the members had crazy chemistry.

Abraham Santiago

Imma be honest you getting mad at the b roll footage is so funny but I’m not sure if you found this out alr but there is full version of the performances without them
