i couldn't really say how it differs, but the last album i liked a lot was NOEASY (and i loved a few of the solos on HOP). I am WHO is stiiiill my favorite album of theirs.

10/10 album for me it was definitely my favorite, and ik ghost aren't many ppls cup of tea but that's definitely my favorite song

I don’t know if I can give a rating but this is such a top tier album to me, it has that stray kids sound and feel with such a maturity and growth in their sound, I might be biased but it’s on repeat for me

this album hit so hard for me! i feel like it's such a good follow up after seeing them on tour, it just made sense for me. if i were to rate it in its entirety, id give it a 9/10. i was so excited when i saw we were getting 11 songs, but was disappointed to see that 2 of them were versions of the title. but ngl, the festival version of chk chk boom went CRAZY at the concert so i know the festival version of ceremony will knock the same. my top 3 from karma (this was hard): 1. in my head 2. 0801 3. half time (ghost honorary mention)

i didn't know the album was divisive given that the sound is pretty standard stray kids. the only thing i can say really is that the lyrics for most songs feel super lazy to me so, that's a big minus for me unfortunately. they're also often very clunky - like they forced the words into the melody. one example is changbin's opening verse in Ceremony. that said, the festival version is absolutely amazing and i much prefer it to the original :) Mess is my absolute favourite on the album (I love this style from Han) along with 0801 <3 love that you loved it tho! :D

My top songs are: Ceremony, Creed, Pheonix Beep - in the track video I was worried this one might be too busy for me but I actually ended up liking it a lot especially the way they approached the subject matter. Most people will probably disagree but I kind of feel like this is their modern day version of 'side effects' which also shows how much they've grown artistically. Creed yeah this one has so much bounce. It wasn't until this Listen that I decided it's top 3 for me. Very replayable Mess - gorgeous song. I feel like this would have gone crazy as an ending song at the concert. The autotune definitely didn't bother me I actually think they sounded great it didn't overpower their vocals and we also got to hear people like Changbin get more melodic which I'm always here for. I'm my head - I knew you were going to love this. It's not my style/type of song but it felt very much like the nostalgic type of punk pop rock that was very popular When I was growing up. Couldn't tell you if they were referencing an exact song but they all kind of sounded like that lol. It does feel very much like stray kids as well in that rascally type of energy that they had during the debut era which was cool. Half time- I didn't love this one too much in terms of something that I would actually listen to but I do love that the pre-chorus feels a lot like case 143. Sometimes it feels like a fever dream like they did that style of song and never came back to it again 🤣 Phoenix -Felix vocals! I'm a simple girl give me a hype pop song was a great pre-chorus into a satisfying drop (with actual vocals and not just instrumental in the chorus) and I'm so happy. This is a very radio-friendly song but done in a stray kids way I love it. Ghost - this one's definitely an easy listen, I agree it does sound like it could easily go on radio. I think it's a little bit too linear for me. Catchy but not as unique in terms of stay kids so by the time you hit that chorus the final time it feels a little repetitive. 0801 - stray kids has a lot of fan songs and they're really great but this one is so so good. Another one that I wish was out at the time I went to their concert It's the perfect ending song. It's sounds so melancholy at first but that chorus has a great energy to it I know I'm on crack but whenever they 'I'm right here my brain goes 'im caillouuuuuu~' iykyk and I simply cannot elaborate any further 🤣🤣. When you said it reminds you of another k-pop song for me it's Blue by Wonho. I enjoyed this album overall. I've been in a weird place with Stray Kids' releases because while the quality has been there they'd be the first ones to tell you they love a divisive sound and they release so much music so quickly that I feel sometimes you don't even have time to give a song that you may not have loved on first listen a few chances before they've already moved on to another album. Going to the concert helped with that there were a few songs from recent albums that I was eh~ on that really banged in a live setting so I could be energized again for this album. One thing I need to do more justice to is I didn't get to pay as much attention to the lyrics on my first listen or even now. I caught the gist of a lot of them but skz lyrics go deep so I know there's stuff I missed even if I looked away for a second.
