This episode was heat like y'all said, these perfomances were good! I'm still not fully agreeing with some of the rankings but it was fun to have the discussions with you guys while watching! Got one more until catching up so I hope that one is a good time too!

I'll just comment here on the new stuff since we talked about everything else on stream. I feel so sad for Nian Bo Heng, of course he's not the first or only trainee in a survival show who I have thought had the full package but the audience and viewers just don't seem to be interested but it always sucks. He's definitely not going to get his due at any point on this show and I'm going to try to make peace with that. Jo Yuri does release solo music. Squid game is actually her most notable acting role so we'll see what she pursues from here. Everyone in this like Jennie performance was fantastic. They all had so much talent but also so much star power. Sucks that somebody always has to be last but even so Hyun Jun's points were too low. Leo being such a Sangwon fan boy always cracks me up "He's always ready!"🤣🤣😂 Jun min's moment here was truly touching and honestly Kany is such a ray of light in this show she is what people actually mean when they say they want somebody tough but fair. I don't know all the details but the company that WHIB is under is apparently in terrible financial condition and hasn't been paying people for close to 8 months so I think the group is at risk of disbandment whether he makes it into the b2p lineup or not. That's why his members are saying don't come back (Jun Lee Jeong who just got the most points in the Hot performance is also in WHIB btw). The other hope him or the company may have in sending members to the show is that even if they don't make it in the group they get some resurgence in popularity that would save them from disbandment. I feel like I'm going to try to track who had the best episodes from here on out reputationally speaking. just to see how it impacts the rest of the rankings. So for example this episode was definitely great for Jun Min and Yun Seo. They were doing okay already but if either of them make it into the group I would consider this episode as the turning point of their edit. On one hand I'm so happy that Harry June jumped up from 47 to 24 in the rankings but why does he have to be right on the cutoff line again!? This is stressing me out 😞

Im going to comment in parts... The whole reason I am pushing so hard for Donggyu is because of the VOCALS he showed for his first performance!! I need him to just switch to being a vocalist, and maybe sub-rapper instead!😫 "Doing Everything but what he's best at" is SO TRUE!! its infuriating!!! I totally felt the same way about ADP project's song being a selection for the trainees. Its not that I hate the song, its just confusing why they decided to go with such a new group. If they wanted to use a co-ed group's songs why not use KARD!?! I REALLY REALLY struggle to understand the hype behind Yunseo and Jia Yang. Of course they are talented, they have to be to be here... idk, im just so confused on what people's standards are for this group that they are voting for. I also really dont understand why Masato is so popular. He is so bland in my opinion!

Back here again, commenting on the rest of what I missed from stream, for now man there’s so much talent here Don’t know if you peeped in the reply’s but all the dance songs were re recorded with their vocals Whatever zhong xing is going through idk but you can’t put words in his mouth through editing his attitude just irks me man I feel like it’s not that production didn’t let him leave, they just convinced him since they were in the middle of a mission and close to the end, other trainees have left the show but that was before anything major, but I agree he’s also trying to be an idol deep down he doesn’t actually want to leave but idk he needs to change his mindset or whatever it is Lmao the straight to the gym after zhong xings score Junmins part just kills me, sangwon is just too good, chingyu and hyunjun the dance skills man and harry june choreographing all of this making everyone shine like damn I feel like people are overlooking how good of a dancer and even vocalist that chingyu is man And I forgot Harry June went from placing 47 last episode to jumping to the cut off point at 24 is crazy man

Thoughts on performances The only person I have any interest in for the XXL team is Arctic. But they all did their thing!! I wish they performed live. I understand that's not the main point of the "performance" competition. But that is what IM voting for. People who can dance, sing, and perform at the same time. Other than that, they did a fantastic job! I'm still not voting for Yunseo😅 IM SORRY!!! THANK GOD ARCTIC SCORED AN ALL-STAR!! On the Hot team, I like Jun Lee Jeong and Nian the most. I don't like ZhongXing. Even taking out the fact that it is probably "evil editing", I don't care for his vocals or rap anyway. And I agree that he is giving Mnet the opportunities to make him look bad. To put my two cents into the convo you were having about wanting rappers in idol groups... if I were to create a perfect K-pop group, which is what we are supposed to be doing via voting. I want Singers who can SING, rappers who can RAP, and dancers who can PERFORM!! The best examples are P1Harmony, BTS, SVT, EXO, and Ateez. I want that level of talent in a group. Idol rappers are cute, but if given the choice, 10 times out of 10, I'm picking a rapper who happens to be in an idol group over an idol whose position is to "rap", and the same thing with vocalists and dancers. To the performance, I really enjoyed it!! Zihao did great!! I loved Nian's rap!! Zhongxing did well, too. I'm proud of Lee Jeong! He did well!! Especially for going out of his comfort zone. I hope he gained some confidence in his skills after this performance. Nian was my favorite for this performance!! He was so cool!! The scoring for this team was some BS!! NIAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE TOP SCORE!! But I'm happy Lee Jeong got a high score. He shouldn't have been the top, though!! Imo should have been Nian in first, Zihao second, Lee Jeong third, and Zhongxing fourth. I love pretty much all of the members on the Like Jennie team! I've voted for all but one of them😅. I'm glad Kani gave that talk to Junmin, sometimes that's all you need, just one person to tell you how amazing you are!! And he is amazing!! I really hope he debuts!! The Like Jenni team was FANTASTIC!!! BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE EPISODE!! Sangwon did Amazing!! HARRY JUNE Phenomenal!! JUNMIN was a standout!! I'm not sure what the one kid's name was w/ the boxy smile, but I'm about to learn and remember it!! AND THEN, HSU CHING YU!!! You described him with the perfect word "Cracked". I am going to be so distraught if he isn't in the top rankings this next voting session!! They all could debut rn as a group and I would be a fan!! Kani getting emotional made me cry. It was so rewarding seeing Junmin perform not only well, but phenomenal!! I really don't understand the voting... they all should be All-Stars. Fun episode to watch with you!! Sad that I missed the live!! Hopefully I can make one in the future!!

idkkk I just think there are too many people on the outside that personally know yichen who are defending him for there to not be SOME level of evil editting happening bc he's got people he's trained with, ex-project 7 contestants, eliminated planet c contestants all defending him and saying he's the kindest and friendliest person ever so what is mnets deal with trying to make him out to be demanding and selfish, like it just doesn't match the way literally anyone else who has personally worked with him speaks about him

Omg ant I just finished watching the last part i missed cause you ended the live and omg the last performance was amazing!! It’s my favourite at the moment and everyone did so amazing! And my boy junmin! He’s been my favourite so I’m so happy! I personally thought 1. Junmin and 2. Harry june (but that’s also cause I know that he choreographed it but he went crazy on stage too!!) I’m so excited to see the future performances but I’m pretty sure that like Jennie will be my favourite 😭😭😭

Arctic did well, I liked Yunseo this performance lol! It's all good! :D Agreed for ZhongXing. I'd take out EXO from your list but I agree overall (mainly as I consider EXO excellent but they could not rap and I'd be MORE than happy ngl). I'd almost say the same with SVT but they can turn it on, just not at the extent of BTS/P1H/ATEEZ (imo). Nian should've been top score mannnnn IDK why the audience is playing so much this season! Appreciate the company and comments regardless!!

I mainly put Exo to support my point about vocalists being amazing singers.. not so much the rapping. After re-reading my comment, they probably weren't the best example😅

No for sure! It’s just a pity mnet are the way they are and go out of their way to villainise some of these contestants who seem to be good people it’s pretty sad to watch ://, definitely a criticism of mnet rather than the viewers

I was so pissed at the votes too. My babe Nian got last place??? Wtf??? The audience there must’ve been high or drunk or deaf cuz I can’t even explain whatever the hell were those results. Tbh this season is harder to watch because there seems to be an unreasonable bias towards some contestants and not enough appreciation for actual skill and talent. I will still watch it and vote because I already have my faves that I need to see debut and perform!! Also, I feel so bad for Hyunjun. I liked his performance better than Chingyu, I think he’s got more charisma and sass and suited the song better so it’s a shame he got last place.
