Btw, we finished this doc on Twitch, I'll post one every monday from now, will consider checking out their vlogs as many people have requested them. I know a lot of you want to see all the reactions asap, but I have to schedule some things to make a posting schedule! Working on it, thanks for understanding- love y'all!

I don’t think “Outside” not making the cut for CORTIS necessarily means it was “recycled” to ENHYPEN. Since CORTIS is a newly debuted group, BIGHIT likely wants their debut album to define their unique identity and image. “Outside” might not have aligned with the concept or narrative they’re building for CORTIS’s future. HYBE is a huge company now, and it’s not unusual for great songs to be rotated between labels or artists depending on what fits best. A song like “Outside” clearly has strong potential, so it makes sense they’d want to find the right group and timing for it. As bighit producers said before, even a great song needs the right moment to be released. In this case, “Outside” fits ENHYPEN’s sound and image extremely well. It doesn’t mean the song was a leftover—it just found the right group where it could truly shine. It’s more about artistic synergy than recycling.

Yeah, we touched a bit of that on stream too! It was just a thought and not intended to be disrespectful to the hype boys. Of course a good song still needs the right time to be released and the right artist to perform it. I guess I have different opinions due to kpop companies seemingly making new groups and shifting focus into the newer groups and the fandom doesn’t help as they tend to prefer newer / younger artists over older acts. In addition to that, I felt Outside didn’t fit Enhypen so that added more to that thought! Thanks for sharing your opinion on it though too I hope others add in as well, for this or anything else in the doc! 😁

Oh no, I totally agree with companies shifting focus to newer groups. it’s honestly so frustrating! I’m like, can you please just focus on the group you already have? Give them the time and attention they deserve! And I definitely understand what you mean about the "outside" concept not really fitting Enhypen. As an Engene, I was actually on the other side of it, haha i thought it was kind of refreshing to see them try something different that wasn’t really "Enhypen-coded." But of course, everyone has different tastes, and that’s what makes discussions like these fun.

Technically in this episode, they did GO!’s MV using their own concepts and creativity. The shots were then taken to be in the actually MV but reshot with actual budget and crew. The one in the pool is also a potential MV for their new song. Kind of insane how they’re only 15-18yrs that time & are handson with their art.

The one where they rehearsed GO! with different moves, James actually choreographed it and it then got put in the actual choreo.

I just watched the MV teaser for their album dropped tomorrow and man I'm excited. I'm not going to say they got me like you guys falling into the abyss lol but like I said this album could have been 15 tracks just based on all the good stuff we've seen in this doc but I'll take what I can get 😄

Brianna Wilson

I'm sorry to tell you but you've been got. their album SLAPS and i'm watching their performances on their album release party livestream and it hits SOO HARD. they just ooze sauce and charisma live it's insane and i'm in awe of how this is their first showcase?? we know after watching the documentary, but something about their live energy just screams that they're true artists and not just idols performing concepts

James is 19 and is going to be 20 in October. he is Thai. From what I heard he was pretty popular in Trainee A and is also immensely talented from a young age
