The flashbacks would've hit harder if the fight was as good 😅 Another clannad comment! I think having hinata's soft voice on top of the orchestral track made it sound very similar to how nagisa sounds from clannad. I'm gonna have to say shino's fight against the member of the sound clan was the most interesting so far. Hosting insects in your body and using them as weapons is kind of gross and cool

sasuke only copied the first kick from lee, the rest was his own technique. As for naruto, he doesnt have the sharingan so he cant do the first kick part that lee does so he threw his own spin with the shadow clones for the first part and then copied sasuke's barrage technique for the rest lol. Kiba's thing with dogs and the sense of smell IS a clan thing, but every jutsu works with chakra so chakra is always involved regardless. Even shino's jutsu with bugs works by feeding them chakra, sasuke's sharingan works with chakra, etc. Also some ninja techniques are less for fighting and more for other things. As we know ninja missions are about more than fighting. So for example if you consider kiba's techniques, they would be more suited to tracking, reconnaissance and intel etc. than fighting necessarily.

Nah I know Sasuke copied the kick and figured it out, Lee still the baseline, lee is the skeleton, Lee is THE ONE! Thanks for reminding me outside of fighting, there's more to being a Ninja, we'll see more of that as we progress through the show I'm sure.

Had to pause at the beginning of my watch to say YES PLEASE GO BACK TO DUB!! Or like, maybe you can alternate and do like 4 episodes dub, then 4 sub, and keep switching? Idk lol. Tbh when they explain complex stuff that happens in the show, it’s a lot easier to understand in the dub. It’s almost like they dumb down the subbed translation or something.
