Honestly y'all, I am back to overthinking, but for good reason. I'm always feeling like some types of contents can be viewed as "getting in the way" so I'm back to considering removing anime from this page.
When anime get sub 10 likes and barely any comments , it feels like I'm wasting my time, and those who are scrolling on the Patreon as well. Especially since I'm experiencing these for the first time, I'm wanting that back and forth community dynamic, like I get when exploring new kpop groups with y'all. It feels like some people may view those posts as a waste and would prefer it being more kpop or kdrama content, nobody really wins.
I wanted to try anime as a way to keep reactions fresh and offer my other interests a chance to be expressed so I don't burn out, and I think I want to keep trying if possible. I know a big thing is getting YouTube edits up for the anime and I'm working on that when the budget allows.
Thank you to the few who engage with those videos, I appreciate the company so much
It feels like if it's separate, anime can run at a steady, low burn cadence without worrying about delays from a survival show heavy schedule, taking up a slot from another variety show, etc. It could keep things pretty focused and more predictable?
I'd be ensuring to not chase a change that would hurt or impact you guys, it would still be a priority here, leaving anime to be a separate lane in order to make both sides feel better and more smooth? My priority remains this page and anthonytoo channel if this is done!
My biggest thing was posting on two places, it feels extra lol.
Obviously we do kdramas, movies, etc. here still, it would solely be anime being separated.
Output would not be reduced further than what I've been saying. It'll simply be only reorganized if I do that. Pricing would stay the same.
Why not keep one page, tag posts, separate tiers?
I feel this helps a little, but the mixed feed still reads "noisy to me. A split gives each side its own watchlist and it's own pacing. With a possible audience who is more eager to clicking on most of the content that pops up.
Please give some feedback so I can take it into consideration and talk it through with some people to bounce ideas off of!
Let me know in the comments:
How many of you are here for anime in addition to the kpop/kdrama content?
Would you prefer the cleaner feeds, working towards a more consistent schedule?
If I split, would a 30-day free window, and/or a discounted tier for the ~10ish anime viewers make it fair?
Any deal-breakers I'm not seeing?
If you read this, thank you. I'm sorry for always overthinking! I'll be reading all responses and trying my best to see where things land.
