THISSSSSSS. This might be a hot take but NCTs best songs are always on these entire group albums. Theres iconic songs like Faded in my Last Song, Pado, Yestoday. Love them so much.

I always struggle to recommend live stages cause I feel like nowadays it's so hard to know what's actually live and what's not. I always recommend the dance practices and recording sessions though. NCT Dream is so full of talent

Also context for what Mark said: NCT Dream had a graduation concept so once someone in the group reached adult age, they would basically get yoinked out the group. This was how they planned on introducing new trainees, they would first join through Dream and then graduate to a permanent subunit. (Don't quote me on that) Mark was the oldest so he got yoinked for a few years, but then SM realized it was incredibly cruel to dismantle the group considering they were FUCKING CHILDREN when they all met and trained together and therefore had bonded a lot. So they yeeted Mark back in the group right before their first full album and we had the NCT Dream renaissance which had an amazing full album and really good content and behind the scenes stuff such as this. To answer your question though, when Haechan and Mark are doing stuff with 127 the five guys do perform as 5.

to answer your question about why jisung wasn’t active for a while he had unfortunately gotten a knee injury that was pretty bad. he had to rest for months and undergo physical therapy. he didn’t get to perform with nct at all during their resonance era, where all nct units came together ( nct u/ nct 2020) and put out an album and promoted together. it was very unfortunate ):
