ngl to ya... i do not like this song at all lmao. & i'm kinda sad about it, i really didn't want to be disappointed with how invested i was in B2P. the performance was fine i guess, it's just that their whole concept is unfortunately BORRRRING to me. 😭

this is going to be my first time commenting cuz this soooong.... I had a very lukewarm reaction to it when I watched the stage, and then the performance video basically sealed the deal that I did not like this at all. I know everyone was hoping for a Chains like concept on them but with that name idk maybe in like 3/4 years. also this being a Kenzie song really disappointed me cuz she has been doing well over at SM, so what is this?? idk, I'm going into their debut with an open mind, I'm just not very excited for it rn with this being their introduction to people who haven't watched B2P. sidenote, i need my boy Jiahao to get a little bit more lines than what was happening in this song.

I liked it! Felt kinda NCTish also KENZIE did work on this too. But you were thinking of Lucky Macho from B2P! I think they’re still gonna have that dual concept of Energetic and Romantic, so I think the title track for the debut album won over Formula as the main TT and will be more similar to Chains

A Chains type concept would have been good... I generally lookout for Kenzie in credits too, and I did not know she was on this, I'm confused LOL.

It took me a couple of listens (only like 2 or 3) before the chorus grew on me, and I still don't love it... But I LOVED Geonwoo's Bridge on first listen!! I wouldn't hate if they had an NCT127 type sound, which this song can resemble. But I think I was hoping for a softer sound, really just because the members, IN MY OPINION, aside from Xinlong, don't do Punchy songs well... this is only a prerelease, so I will keep my expectations up for the debut☺️. I agree that the Performance video sounded WAY better than the live stage.

For info mama is in Hong Kong they were supposed to have performed holar solar and maybe something else too but due to the fires in Hong Kong and not wanting to upset anyone they changed the stage and choreo last minute like day/s before, I believe almost all groups/stages had to I wasn’t sold on the song at first since the stage audio and everything seemed off but after the performance video and the song the track has been on repeat for me, I love the noisy hard hitting type vibes and it just getting catchy for me after a while, almost like lucky macho or stray kids/nct type vibes for me, chains type vibe would be also cool for the debut but I like this race type vibe, I like cars so the whole vibe is cool to me And there’s no denying they can sing! Leo be sanging and rappin Also for sure watching the variety show lol it’s been fun seeing the personalities

I wanted to love this so bad but lmao they unfortunately disappointed me. Idk Wakeone needs to let leo in the studio or something bc this is not it. Also you need to watch their variety content especially the dorm ones, the line up makes so much more sense and I actually enjoy everyone now

For the awards a lot of groups had to change up their performances last minute because of the hong kong fires near the venue, ald1 was one. they did great for the last minute stress of it all but also i just wish they had LEO singing more cause that man can SANGGG if you ever seen his covers and songs and jiahao def coulda had a little more spotlight considering just how beastly he is at dancing , maybe more rap lines too also heard sangwon’s in ear wasn’t working so he was literally just guessing at some points 😭 (which was glaringly obvious cause he’s center most of the time)

oh yeah, did you know Leo was picked as the leader? that’s why i feel like they need to just let him produce something for their album, he was taught well by B.I and his solo songs were great, we need to get this man in the studio 😩

I was wondering why everyone was saying that, though I agree for solo works! Has leo produced any songs fit for a group in the kpop space? (back in trainee a days, any sample songs from that time? )

during trainee A they all did little projects with each other here and there. Leo , Woochan, James, Yorch etc would make random songs here and there just for the fun of it and record homemade videos (which we know james gets very creative with during the cortis ones) so in that sense he has, but not anything official. i’m sure producing more serious tracks with a concept in mind is probably more difficult tho but hey he could do a demo track and see how it runs with the team perhaps

Okay I'm certain the universe just didn't want me to listen to this song because not only have I not been spoiled on it but the last couple of times I tried to play this performance MV my phone would always freeze up like 15 seconds in. So I finally got through it today and it's definitely not for me. I see the Neo comparison that people are making but nah not everyone can pull that off. This is like a nct rejected demo. My biggest hope in terms of what we could still get with the debut is that It's clear with the themes of the show (Alpha energy, max the power and all that) that they always intended to go with this concept and this song was going to go to whatever set of members made The lineup regardless of if they fit. It was rumored that Mnet had a change of heart during the show airing after seeing what was popular from the original songs and they may move in a more chains/Enhypen like direction. They wouldn't have had time to switch out this song though. .This could also be my hopeful delusion and the entire album could sound like this for all I know lol. One huge shout out I want to give is to Anxin. I wasn't expecting that from him but he kind of ate the rest of them up on this. Okay Sir! I'm also glad I watched the performance MV before the live stage I never like hearing a song first live especially since Korean award shows have horrible sound and camera work.
